The Field Guide Audiobook

" I read this to my son. He enjoyed it thoroughly. I think this is a good read for children 3-5th grade as it as a lot of vocabulary children can learn. It is the right length for this age group also. "

But the writing seemed to get away from the author, as if she was inserting little details at the last minute rather than revising them into the story line where they belonged. But I loved the illustrations, and I'll read a few more to give them another chance. "
