"Awesome. Red Glove builds Cassel's story nicely, the good kid born into a crime family. Only, he's not so sure he wants to be good anymore. However, my favorite parts of the book are his roommate Same - anyone who can make fake blood with ketchup & Worcestershire sauce is cool with me. "

" Cassel gets into further magic-related trouble; this one's pretty much all about his allegiances, and also adds another nice mystery plot into the mix. Plus worker oppression. Oh, and some teenage angst. There's a lot going on, and it's just as solid as the first book. I continue to be very impressed. "
