"Such a cute, fun, wholesome series. The audiobooks are fun because the narrator does such a great job with the different characters' voices and accents, but I have to recommend the physical books if you can get them. My sister showed me her copies - lucky girl has the entire series - and I was so thrilled to see the magical illustrations! A treasure."

“Like the finale of Harry Potter, Michael Buckley ends this popular series with a hint of romance and a peek at the future—a glimpse of the much older Daphne and Sabrina Grimm. L. J. Ganser, has…superb diction and the ability to make clear distinctions between the dozens of characters. Overall, a satisfying listen.”
— School Library Journal (starred review)“Rousing…While there have been an increasing number of updated fairy tale books for young readers, this is one of the best, both in terms of the writing and the plot.”
— Children’s Literature" Michael Buckley is one of the great writers who can produce novels that appeal to children but are also enjoyable for adults. I have enjoyed this series following the spunky Grimm sisters as they attempted to bring peace to the fairy tale characters trapped in a small NY town. I didn't think that this book was the best of the series, but it did plausibly tie up loose ends and provide a glimpse into the future of Ferryport Landing and the Grimm family. I appreciate that this series does not talk down to kids and also provides strong, smart female protagonists having adventures that may appeal to fairy-tale loving girls. "
— Kathleen, 2/19/2014" A good conclusion to an enjoyable series. "
— Darin, 2/19/2014" It was nice to read a real ending to a series. Not a bad way to wrap things up. "
— Miranda, 2/10/2014" A great ending to an amazing series! It has been fun! "
— Mindy, 2/7/2014" I was never the Target audience for this series so it's not surprising that I personally found the end of this book anticlimactic. Still, the ending felt slightly forced like the Author just wasn't sure how to wrap it up, but had to do it anyways. "
— Mike, 1/31/2014" I loved this series. I think I would have enjoyed the final book even more, though, if I reread the earlier books. There were parts where I just couldn't quite remember the details from previous books to make sense of things. "
— Sharon, 1/10/2014" I thought this book wrapped up the series nicely. "
— Annie, 1/1/2014" Mostly satisfying conclusion to a solid series. Rather high body count (albeit non-human fairy tale folk) for a YA book. "
— Erin, 12/29/2013" i love the ending and i really hope that the author makes a different series based on their daughters point of view! "
— Nicole, 12/20/2013" Amazing ending to a great series! Loved it! "
— Shauna, 12/19/2013" In this book I cried, I laughed, and I smiled! every single thing that puck said made me smile! I love that kid! I knew that uncle jake was ganna kill nottinghnem and the queen of hearts. I cried when atticus killed Mr.seven! wish there was another book! "
— Cecilia, 11/27/2013" This was an ending to a series that didn't make me mad!!! I loved this whole series and will continue to recommend it for years to come. I am sad to say goodbye to Ferryport Landing and all it's wonderful characters, but most of all I am going to miss Puck! "
— Dana, 10/31/2013" Good conclusion to one of my favorite series. Although the resolution seemed very simple, I can't deny the power of love, which was the silver bullet, if you will. "
