This special edition of The Iron Daughter includes the bonus Guide to the Iron Fey.
Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan Chase has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to Mab, the Winter faery queen.
As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows the real danger comes from the Iron fey—ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. Worse, Meghan’s fledgling fey powers have been cut off. She’s stuck in Faery with only her wits for help.
Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can’t help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.

"I really liked this one. It's like a 16 year old girl version of Percy Jackson, so more romance. But how they travel to all these different cities where they meet strange beings as they're on a quest to retrieve something all while mortals can't see them -- very Percy Jackson like. I liked that it upped the love story line more than the first book. Granted, these books aren't deep, they're like a good Action drama flick that distracts you from real life and throws you into someone else's story. Will I be thinking about how this book made me feel or anything in 5 years? Probably not. Enjoyable all the same."

" It was good but it took me forever reading it because the firsthalf of it isn't as intesting as the latter half. I did not expect that ending though. "
— Seiren04, 2/19/2014" I liked this book more than the last one. It was less predictable and I felt like I cared about the characters more "
— Joy, 2/11/2014" A sequel equal to the first book! However, I regret that the NeverNever, and its two kingdoms, is not further described or "used", and I think Meghan's "stay" in the Winter Court is way too short, and leaves us little time to discover properly this new side of the NeverNever. "
— Virginie.V, 1/31/2014" AWESOME!! LOVE this series! Can't wait to buy the entire thing! :D "
— Myra, 1/25/2014" Great book, but I am really curious about how the ending of this book is going to affect the next book. It was awesome! "
— Lindsay, 1/19/2014" Meghan is a bit dense, but I powered through this in nearly one sitting. It's fun and gruesome by turns. "
— Amanda, 1/14/2014" Love this book! one of my favorites:) ash is adorable "
— Nikki, 1/8/2014" as quick and easy a read as the first, this time Meghan is in the land of ice... the winter faeries' court. Ash, her love, treats her like crap.. to be fair to him, he did warn her so I got tired of her whining. I was team Puck and this book only reinforced it. "
— Monnette, 11/6/2013" I really liked this one. Face paced & exciting. "
— Lizrosedodd, 5/8/2013" Great follow up the first series. The character development was a bit transparent, and obvious but still a good storyline. "

— Leah, 12/2/2011" I love the originality of this series. As the love triangle continues I'm rooting for both Puck and Ash but alas Meghan can only have one. I can't wait to see where her choice takes her and for once I can't figure out where her choice will lead her... How will the author finish this series? "
— Honey, 11/16/2011" Not my favorite, but there is still enough to pull me into the rest of the series. "
