Publisher Description

Carla Neggers showcases romantic suspense at its very best in her New York Times best-selling novels. Folklorist Keira Sullivan is convinced that an isolated ruin on the Irish coast conceals the ancient Celtic stone angel for which she has been searching. But then the ruin collapses on her, and the man who rescues her must soon protect them both from a depraved killer. "No one does romantic suspense better!"-Janet Evanovich

"I really enjoyed this book. The characters are fun and entertaining, there is enough drama with support characters that you can tell it is part of a series without feeling like you are lost if you haven't read the other books, and there are plenty of plot twists and turns. **spoiler** The only qualm I had, and the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, is that the cover and summary suggest some supernatural involvement. There is a good bit of superstition, but that is all it is. There are no actual faeries, "wee folk", or other supernatural beings. It did not take away from the story, but it did disappoint just a little."

" I liked the Angels and Ireland info in this book. I felt like I was there. Simon and Keira compliment each other nicely. I had no clue who it was until the end and then it didn't really seem like that is who it should have been. "

" Excellent storyline; however, the folklore of the angel just isn't that exciting. Everytime is shows up, someone dies. Yet, everyone speaks of how lucky and enchanting it is. I enjoyed the book but the follow through of the concept needs some work. "

" This was an OK book. Suspenseful with a bit of romance. It didn't have the greatest ending. Towards the end of the book I just kept thinking "come on already, end" as I started to get bored. If the author cut the book down a bit, I think it would have made all the difference. "
