Publisher Description

Ever since an accident turned her into a knockout vamp, Elvi Black's been catching her z's in a coffin, staying out of the sun, and giving up garlic. She knows there's more to being undead than what she saw in Dracula, but she can't very well ask her mortal friends about proper biting etiquette. But when her neighbors placed a personal ad for her in the local paper, she never imagined she'd meet Victor Argeneau, a vampire who could have his pick of any woman—dead or alive.

Rich, powerful, and drop—dead gorgeous, Victor's the perfect man for a novice neck—biter like Elvi. He's willing to teach her everything he knows, but he'll have to do it fast. Someone's out to put a stake through her new vamp life, and only Victor can keep her safe—and satisfied—for all eternity.

"this one was just beyond fun. the argeneau series is usually funny but this one cracked me up from page one. i think i actually liked the story of all of the secondary characters and the town itself than the main pair. the fact that the future life mates were also all senior citizens was a nice change. by the end of the book i had this mental picture of mayberry over ran with vamps. i want to see them bring in some females for the men of the town. that sherif needs a nice little vamp at home right ?"

" Not a big fan. It was a cute story but lacked any real depth. Ok for a light read, but it was just too corny, and ended in a nice little gift wrapped bundle. The main character is supposed to be sexy and intelligent but comes across as gullible and boring. The supporting characters just as blah. The storyline was slow, and a let down in the end. "

" this book was funny, though Elvi was kinda annoying in this with her being so naive about what it was to be a vampire. But all in all it was in the same aspect as the rest of Sands books in this series, quirky, funny, sexy, and a most weird way of hooking up with someone. "
