"This latest installment of the Argeneau Family finally solves the mystery of the untimely deaths of Armand's wives. It is light reading with a satisfying ending. It is very subtle as it considers whether one should do something just because they can do something. It was also different in that it told the story from the point of view of two immortals, both of whom had previous lifemates. The heroine was smart, tough and sassy. She had a unique take on adversity, which we all would do well to remember. If you are a fan of the Argeneau family and in the mood for light reading, I recommend this book."

— Kristin, 2/17/2014" Really nice to finally have several big mysteries solved in this great series. "
— Lindy, 1/27/2014" I really liked this, no tiptoeing around the romance. They got down to biz and solved the mystery! I loved the characters it was a really great read "
— Kristin, 1/1/2014" Good but... why do these guys never read minds of anyone? Seriously, the bad guy lives under your nose, has murdered 3 wives for you, and a daughter-in-law, yet it never occurs to you that the person out to get you is nearby? "
— Crystal, 12/2/2013" i cant get enough of these books, i just love her stuff !! "
— Laurie, 12/1/2013" An enjoyable vampire romance with a crime to solve, plenty of humor, steamy sex and action packed. Armand Argeneau lost three wives and lives secluded life as a farmer until enforcer Eshe is sent in to investigate. I like authors epilogues that provoke reminiscing of previous books in the series. "
— Dawn, 12/1/2013" Excellent excellent book, highly recommend it. "
— Angela, 11/11/2013" As always with this entire series....I loved it!!!! "
— Sonia, 9/30/2013" Not my favorite in the series, but enjoyable. "
— Yvette, 9/28/2013" amazing like all of hers "
— Kaila, 4/17/2013" I really didn't like this book in the Argeneau series. Also, the narrator on the audiobook was about the worst narrator I've ever heard. It was *bad*. "
— FlibBityFLooB, 8/1/2012" Once again Lynsay Sands produces an AWESOME vamp romance novel. It's got great plot, it's funny and there are loveable repeat characters. Quiet an good next installment to the Argeneau novels! "
— Renee, 3/4/2012" In this installment of the series, both main characters where already immortals. It was nice to get away from the Great Debate if it's evil or not, or How Do I Tell Them plot lines and focus more on the story in the established world. "
— Lunasea, 2/18/2012" I love Eshe's character. XDD "
— Elena, 2/4/2012" Taken the spot of my 2nd favorite book in this series!! I just loved how this brought everyone together!!! Fantastic story!!! "
— Karry, 6/24/2011" This one was just too easy. They knew they were life mates early on and bam, that's all she wrote. I suspected the culprits early on also. Decent read but the series starts to feel repetitious after a while. "
— Jeannie, 5/28/2011" Good but... why do these guys never read minds of anyone? Seriously, the bad guy lives under your nose, has murdered 3 wives for you, and a daughter-in-law, yet it never occurs to you that the person out to get you is nearby? "
— Crystal, 5/25/2011" When I first picked up the book it was slow. With each page read I wanted to find out who the killer was. I was surprised when I did find out "
— Debra, 5/17/2011" So I like the story of the book. Couldn't be classified as a romance although there was some of that, but I would say that it was just fiction with a little bit of everything in it. I enjoyed it & really didn't feel as if it was missing anything. "
— Valencia, 4/21/2011" I thought this was a good, book it was kind of slow took me two days to read instead of one like the others, but it was still pretty good. I'd reccomend it for sure. "
— Lynn, 2/22/2011" this book freed my favorite vamp nick so i loved it "
— Maria, 2/15/2011" Just loveing these books! More branches of the clan have their stories told and some are quite scadals! and some are just deadly! "
— Rachel, 2/14/2011" Likeable characters, fun romance, a twisty suspenseful plot- an all around good time. "
— Sharon, 2/13/2011" Typical Lynsay Sands book but I like them. They are funny. "
