Publisher Description

Book two in the nationally bestselling Argeneau Vampire series, where true love is good from the first bite to the last!

Etienne Argeneau’s three hundred years of bachelorhood were at an end. Either that, or he’d be forever alone. He could only turn one human in his lifetime, and most of his kind created a life mate. If he turned this stranger...But what choice did he have? The beautiful coroner had saved his life. To save hers, he would make her immortal.

Rachel Garrett awoke surprised. All she’d wanted was to get off the night shift in the morgue; now here she was staggering to her feet naked and in a strange place. But everything would be all right. She’d just make like a bat out of—Then she saw the man of her dreams emerging from his...coffin? And the look in his bright silver eyes said they’d be spending a lot of time together. She just hoped he tasted as good as he looked.

"I really like these books. They are fun and easy to read. The perfect fluff books to get lost in. While the character of Eitenne was a bit stuffy I did like how the relationship between him and Rachel played out. Looking forward to the next story. I am liking these Argeneau vampires. "

" I'm not sure why I keep reading this series. The characters in this book could have been interesting (a coroner and a vampire video game creator) but they're just not. The story ends up being rather predictable. I think the only book in this series that I really enjoyed was the first one I read (Single White Vampire) which I thought was funny. I guess I keep reading the series hoping they will be funny again. "

" Another guilty pleasure! No, these books wouldn't win any literary prizes for brilliant writing, but I couldn't help but love this one. I really liked Etienne and Rachel's story and the more I see of Thomas, the more anxious I am to get to his book. He steals every scene he's in. "
