Publisher Description

In The 50th Law, hip hop and pop culture icon 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) joins forces with Robert Greene, bestselling author of The 48 Laws of Power, to write a “bible” for success in life and work based on a single principle: fear nothing. With stories from 50 Cent's life on the streets and in the boardroom as he rose to fame after the release of his album Get Rich or Die Tryin’, as well as examples of others who have overcome adversity through understanding and practicing the 50th Law, this deeply inspirational book is perfect for entrepreneurs as well as anyone interested in the extraordinary life of Curtis Jackson.

"This is actually a very well-written book about the life's lessons and overcoming fear as an obstacle to success. I was initially skeptical as to whether a book coauthored by 50 Cent could possibly be of worth, but it is an engaging, engrossing read with quite a bit of social relevance and usefulness. Somewhat of a retread of Robert Greene's The 48 Laws of Power with a slight flavour of Machiavelli's The Prince, and admittedly repetitive at times, it references 50 Cent's trials and tribulations as he doggedly climbed the ladder to success, realising along the way the need for maintaining adaptibility and for constantly reininventing oneself as experience necessitates. Its lessons about rechannelling the negative in one's life into opportunites for growth, of how to meet adversity with optimism and courage, apply not only to decision-making in the professional arena but in life, as well."

  • “Green…narrates this work, and his elasticized voice is a surprise—cool and relaxed but with impeccable diction. One can’t imagine Green mumbling—or even changing pitch. Not that his voice is monotonous—quite the contrary, it's actually dulcet and soothing.”

" Being a Robert Greene and 50 cent fan I was excited when I heard the news that they were working on a project together. Then, I thought "I Hope they didnt just put some crap together to sell to 50's fans". Luckily, that was not the case. The book is dope, they storyline and examples of who 50 had to be in order to get to where he is and how that works in everyday like (personal, corporate or streets). So, I wasn let down. Now that i think about it- I need to reread it! "

" An absolutely essential book for any man. This is self-help, but self-help on an epic level. This book goes deep down into the core of your being and asks you to wake the fuck up. Ignore the fact that Robert Greene co-wrote it with 50 cent, and just concentrate on the wisdom. A must-read. "
