Summer break is over, and Raven is hardly eager to be returning to Dullsville High. Not only does school mean daily interaction with preppy pest Trevor Mitchell, but her sleep-filled days and romantic nights with her immortal boyfriend, Alexander, must come to an end. Plus the shock of morning classes isn't the only change in store.
An unexpected letter turns up at Alexander's mansion—announcing his parents will be coming to town. And once they arrive, just about everyone has had a sighting of the macabre couple except Raven. What could be delaying Alexander from introducing Raven to them? Could Alexander be hiding something about his parents' homecoming?
When Raven is finally invited to the most thrilling dinner party of her life, the next turn of events could transform her entire future with Alexander. The sixth book in Ellen Schreiber's bestselling Vampire Kisses series takes an unusual twist in the continuing romance of Raven and Alexander.

"OMG I love this book I love that like everybody loves alexanders paintings but then like nobody wanted to buy the one of raven!!!!! wow i guess nobody does like raven. and that Trevor bought the picture of raven that is just plain creepy!!!!! awwwwwwwwww trevor wants raven to break up with alexander, so he could have her if only he wasn't mean to her at all and if she never met Alexander then she would be with trevor. But then there wouldn't be a good second, third, fourth, fifth, or sixth. or there wouldn't even be a series called Vampire Kisses!!!! I would just be called Populars and Goth's for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like Alexanders mom like Raven!!!!"

“The manuscript is rich in dialogue and features the ever-popular theme of forbidden love between vampire and mortal. Schreiber broaches the teenage romance appropriately for a young adult audience.”
— Children’s Literature" I love this series - its quick and easy to read without (much) teenage angst. There is a departure from the supernatural story arc evident in the series up to this point. It's like this is what happens after the supernatural tests the couple in love. In this story Raven meets Alexander's gothic vampire parents, needs to write a paper on what she wants Ro be when she grows up and try to find a way for her boyfriend to stay with her in Dullsville. If you like this series you will love this edition. "
— Bianca, 2/20/2014" I think out of all six books I liked this one second best. =) "
— Raven, 2/9/2014" Not as good as the previous Vampire Kisses books. It lacked excitement and suspense but I was glad to re-enter the world of Raven and Alexander. Hopefully the next one will have a more exciting plot...... "
— Missy, 1/23/2014" Wow.. this book was good but i think it could have been more exciting like if Alexander asked Raven to marry him... but it was a really good. worth the wait=]. "
— Lil-trouble, 1/19/2014" I enjoyed re-entering the world of Raven and Alexander, however, I thought this book didn't have the suspense and excitement as the previous ones. "
— Missy, 1/16/2014" The sixth book in the Vampire Kisses series is different then the first five. There are no teen vampires causing trouble for Alexander and Raven, instead there is only Alexander's cool Vampire Parent's. The plot is quick paced, and you have to love all the pop culture comments Ellen Schreiber places throughout her novels. I would countine to take this series over Twilight any day. "

— Heather, 10/10/2011" Delightfully delicious. I adore the Sterling family, and I'm glad the ending was so wonderfully happy. I'm happy Alexander and his father formed a tighter bond as they both truly realized Alexander's calling was more than just a hobby...I wonder what Raven will pursue. "
