"I will admit that I almost didn't make it through the beginning of this book - I got stick somewhere around page 40 but I am definitely glad I persevered! I let myself forget the fairy tale aspect if the book for most of it and focused on the real story. I wish I had a bit more resolution at the end or a peak into the next character in the series but alas I will have to acquire the next book."

— Ms.Hill, 10/11/2017" Its a good story, a bit predictable but in the same time captivating. It's not something completely new, it's been done before, but there is a twist. All in all it was good entertainment. I absolutely will listen to the next book in the series as well. "

— Ingrid, 9/18/2013" I ended up liking it more than I thought I would. It kept showing up in my recommendations on various sites so I thought I'd try it and see how it was. At first I was afraid it was going to be another some-what poorly written Cinderella book, but it far exceeded my fears and I enjoyed it very much. "

— Serenity, 6/12/2012" ARGH, book 1 kinda ends but doesn't. I liked the setting and I thought it was a good story, although not an implicit retelling of Cinderella, rather an 'inspired by'. Nonetheless good and one I'd recommend to students. "
— Emy, 5/26/2012" An interesting and engrossing take on Cinderella, if she had been a cyborg living in a post WWIV world. However, at about 50 pages in I figured out what the big twist at the end was going to be, so getting there 300 pages later was a bit anticlimactic. "
— Lisa, 5/14/2012" All i have to say for this books was that it brought me back to my Sailor Moon and fairy tale days and i loved those days so thank you Marissa Meyer =D "
