Publisher Description

There's a new vampire in town. His name is Valentine Maxwell. Goth-girl Raven knows this latest intruder can only mean trouble—he's the younger sibling of two vampires she fought to drive out of Dullsville. But when her brother, Billy, befriends this dangerous tween night prowler, the stakes are suddenly higher. Though torn by the excitement of every teen girl's fantasy—attending the prom with her boyfriend—Raven must do everything she can to protect Billy.

Valentine's appearance may pose even further threats. Could he somehow know Raven's innermost feelings about becoming immortal for her true love, Alexander? The far-from-ordinary romance of these two teen outsiders takes another surprise-filled spin in the fourth book of Ellen Schreiber's applauded Vampire Kisses series.

" I read this book a while back when I was in 6th grade and really liked it... So I decided that I would reread it, because that is what I like to do..... So I reread it and found that I didn't like the series half as much as when I did three or four years ago..... I found that this book was one of the read one time only books.... The first time you read it is awesome but the second is kind of iffy. "

" In this book Raven showed some of her insecurity. For just a few seconds, she thought she would be changed, but in the end what she learned is that she is not as ready for it as she thinks. While Valentine is supposed to be the villain of this piece, by the end of the novel he inspires more sympathy than ire, proving that you should always look deeper into people's motives. "

" this book is amazing i loved it, even though i did not read number 1 and 2 but it gives a lot of information about the other books i love the way the author mixes hummor, romance and mystery. "

" Dance With a Vampire finds Raven and Alexander been stalked by the eleven year old vampire brother of Jagger and Luna, Valentine. This time Valentine is searching for is brother and sister and is stalking Raven's brother, Billy. He befriends Billy under the guise of helping him with a project on myths like vampirism. In reality he wants to hurt Raven by hurting Billy. We discover that some vampires have unique abilties ( I will not reveal it here). Meanwhile, Raven and Alexander's relationship is tested when secret fears from both of them are revealed. I only gave this installment 3 stars because I am becoming wearing of the "patterned" plot. It seems that Schreiber has the annoying habit of having the characters run away from each other in order to protect each other. She did this already in book 2. Enough already! I guess book 5 will be Raven searching Alexander out again. If Schreiber cannot come up with something new, I think she should ends the series while she is still on top. "
