NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER Now a Hulu original series from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Big Little Lies Could ten days at a health resort really change you forever? In Liane Moriarty’s latest audiobook, nine perfect strangers are about to find out... Nine people gather at a remote health resort. Some are here to lose weight, some are here to get a reboot on life, some are here for reasons they can’t even admit to themselves. Amidst all of the luxury and pampering, the mindfulness and meditation, they know these ten days might involve some real work. But none of them could imagine just how challenging the next ten days are going to be. Frances Welty, the formerly best-selling romantic novelist, arrives at Tranquillum House nursing a bad back, a broken heart, and an exquisitely painful paper cut. She’s immediately intrigued by her fellow guests. Most of them don’t look to be in need of a health resort at all. But the person that intrigues her most is the strange and charismatic owner/director of Tranquillum House. Could this person really have the answers Frances didn’t even know she was seeking? Should Frances put aside her doubts and immerse herself in everything Tranquillum House has to offer – or should she run while she still can? It’s not long before every guest at Tranquillum House is asking exactly the same question. Combining all of the hallmarks that have made her audiobooks a go-to for any listener looking for wickedly smart, unpausable fiction that will make you laugh and gasp, Liane Moriarty’s Nine Perfect Strangers once again shows why she is a master of her craft.

"This wasn't my favorite Liane Moriarty book. It was a LONG 19 hours because this book ended so differently than I expected. Despite it being a thriller, which I typically love, the characters are interesting enough, but the story line is not believable. I do love Caroline Lee as a narrator and I enjoyed the characters coming to life, I just didn't love the story line. "

“As she did in Big Little Lies, Liane Moriarty writes compelling, realistic characters. Readers will devour Nine Perfect Strangers.”
— Real Simple“Promises to be a lively page-turner.”
— Vogue"[A] twisty, turny, and smart piece of fiction.”
— BookRiot"The bestselling author of Big Little Lies is back with another twisty, turny, and smart piece of fiction.
— BookRiot"[Narrator] Caroline Lee's animated performance...is especially memorable. Listeners will be hooked as the retreat begins to unravel.
— AudioFileThe interwoven stories of a group of guests at a health resort in Southeast Australia are delightfully narrated by Melbourne performer Caroline Lee, who never falters in her characterizations of this varied cast of characters and who works in concert with the author to imbue them with vivid personalities and intriguing interactions.
— SoundCommentary" Totally implausible story with few/no believably interesting characters, and lots of irritating ones. Many reviewers have chritisised Caroline Lee's narration of this rediculous book, but for me her interpretation of the characters was the only feature that kept me with it until the end. Annoying as some of the characters are (yes the characters, not Caroline Lee-s voice!), her interpretation was what won me over. I thought she nuanced the personalities well & I was never confused on which character she was voicing, even the male ones. Outside of Caroline Lee's narration, I would have given up on this audiobook probably a quarter the way through as it us such a stupid, intellectually insulting story. As negative as my review of this audiobook is, surprisingly it is actually better than both the book and movie. The book tried way too hard to convince with a rediculous premise and the TV series differed from the book's storyline so much that it was at times unrecognisable as an adaptation of the book. Not a fan of Nicole Kidman either (overexposed, overrated frozen-face actor imo & many others), so I thought the leading character was mis-cast from the get-go. Melissa Macarthy was the best part of the series. "
