" This is my favorite series of books. After the first chapter I like the way Jordan made the characters seam real like a ordinary person about to be thrust into extraordinary circumstances. I also love just how well the plot threads weave together. When you read it a second or third time you see so much more plot thread below the service. "

" Just like some of the other books in this series it's a very slow red until the last 6 chapters. I just hope the next book starts where this one left off. "

" You know you've lost interest in a series when you look up the plots of the following books on Wikipedia. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Aniaga | 2/4/2014

" Absolutely the best book in the series so far - fast-paced, action-packed, lots of turning points and progression with the plot. It was very difficult to put it down and it didn't have dragging moments like the previous parts. Looking forward to reading more! "

" Usually when I try reading this series, it is around book 6 that I begin to lose interest. I finally think I understand why. Lord of Chaos is more of a very long set up piece than anything else. A lot happens but very little is resolved. However, I enjoyed this book a bit more this time and managed to make it all the way through. Now if I can just make it through the rest of the series... "

" Must continue the series... "

" Still disappointed, I'm going to give it more one book. I heard that he's going to make this story a monster of 12 volumes. If that's so, he can kiss my dollars goodbye. "

" This book took me a long time to get through (audiobook-style) and for a while I felt like I was being held hostage-- I can't stop listening... so many exciting things this time around. I love when Perrin reappears- he just brings a smile to my face. But the stuff with Rand towards the end of the book is very difficult to get through. Makes my stomach hurt and my heart ache. Poor Rand. Glad that segment is over. "

" The slowest book yet and the weakest ending. Disappointing in those regards but still a fine addition overall. The latter half of the book had some nice reveal that kept me reading and made up for the pace of the earlier half. I just wish Perrin had arrived sooner! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Dayne | 11/3/2013

" Book six actually kicked into gear again for me and I really enjoyed it on round 2. "

" OK, getting a little bored now. Too many super-minor characters and pages dedicated to buildings and scenary. The plot advanced only inches. Still, the interesting and exciting parts were good. "

" *sigh* Great right up to the last 20% I would say. First 80% is the best in the series so far. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Chamberk | 6/27/2013

" Man, that kickass ending almost made up for the 800 pages where nothing actually happens "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Robyn | 2/21/2013

" Probably tied with The Dragon Reborn as my favorite in the series, if not THE favorite. "

" Glad to finally finish this book. Glad, too, that a piece of plot, held in my head from the last time I read the series many years ago, has come to pass. That means that the next book, and those afterward, should be new territory. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Johnny | 8/9/2012

" This book, outside of its predecessors, truely introduces us to the elaborate villains we can expect to see throughout series. Once Again, Joradan leads us down a path which appears completely predictable, and intrigues us when he throws his curve balls! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Janice Stonehouse | 7/19/2012

" As per the usual, Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series Book 6 was excellent....now onto Book 7, with 7 more to go!! "

" This book was still pretty good. It is runs on a bit and it is after this book in the series where I think Jordan gets lost a bit in his story. The story drags on after that in book 7 all the way to book 10. Book 11 is where he starts to wrap things up a bit. "

" Wahoo! Okay, so this was my least favorite one of the six I've read so far. Too slow... much too slow.... that is until the end. And then BAM, couldn't read fast enough! Six down, eight to go! :) "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Leons1701 | 3/7/2011

" Oh my goodness, this book basically stopped time for me while I listened. Mind blowing in the character and action development. I laughed out loud at several parts, particularly regarding Mat and one of the maidens. I growled out loud in several parts, and enjoyed the book immensely. "

" you know, jordan takes his time building up to the big moment in all of these, but what a ride. Worth every minute to me. "
