"Loving this series. This one was maybe funnier than some of the others. I am starting to see how Stephanie's regular life just seems to be full of all these obstacles, that she cannot just have a quiet normal life, she has to be going fast and getting into trouble. I also am seeing her sort of deciding which guy is for her as the stories come out.....not sure who she will end up with in the end, if there is an end, but I like where it is going. Gotta love Lula, Grandma Mazur, Connie and all the other regulars, they are what make these stories just fabulous."

  • Overall Performance: 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5

" This was a fairly typical Stephanie Plum book. That is, Stephanie had interesting mishaps in her line of work as a bounty hunter, her car was once again kaput, there was the continual back and forth between Ranger and Morelli. Same old, same old. At this stage in the game, the stories tend to get a bit repetitive and stale. So what brings me back? Basically because Stephanie is still very likeable, other characters like Lula and Grandma Mazur are still full of foul-mouthed fun, and the books are a nice, light, and funny read. "

I am going to be SOOOOO sad when I read the last one I have Smokin' Seventeen. This series is a blast. I need the escape in my life right now. It's a perfect diversion. "

" Not as good as some of the others in the series but still funny and entertaining. Stephanie is still going through cars, trying to decide on her love life and bringing in people who have failed to appear. The book gets a little strange with the many murders and attempts on Stephanie's life. "

" It wasn't as funny,or sexy as some of the previous books in this series, and really didn't do much to move the plot along toward the next book. Even Grandma Mazur wasn't that funny, and that is very hard to do. Ranger and Steph had some sexy moments, but it was mostly a chaste outing. "
