" I love the author and her books and stories, how she writes and her world building, and this one is a good story with all the usual great writing. So its a pity the narrator has an irritating grating voice - called vocal fry - and commonly used by people to whine, so not for stories! Her other audiobooks I’ve listened to had much better narrators. It makes such a big difference when you have this persons voice in your head. Thus I’d have to recommend against this audiobook, even though the story is great. READ it instead! "
