Honey Jane Moon is a scrappy little know-it-all—brave, smart, but ill-prepared to become the most famous child star in America, even though she’s not quite as young as everyone believes. It won’t take her long to drive the men in her life crazy. There’s Eric Dillion, a smoldering bad boy and one of Hollywood’s most gifted actors. And Dash Coogan, the last of the cowboy heroes, a man trapped on a screen too small to contain a legend. When Honey falls in love, she’ll do it the only way she knows how—with all her heart.

"This book. My absolute favorite of SEP so far. I bawled several times. I loved it. Love love love. It was powerful and complex and touched on some seriously taboo issues but that's what made me identify with it, I think. It wasn't just a romance. It tugs so tightly on the heart strings, especially now that I'm a mother."

" I think I've now read 98% of everything Susan Elizabeth Phillips has written, and I want the world to know it. "
— Supriya, 2/7/2014" Not her best book ever. The characters who end up together at the end of the book don't actually spend a lot of page time together. They met when they were younger, but spent several years apart, then a few weeks together (randomly) and then fell in love and made it forever. Plus, Honey wasn't the best lead. She was whiney and needy and I had a hard time stomaching her. She showed a ton of promise at the beginning of the novel, but then for whatever reason.. fell flat. But I do love SEP, and even if it's not the best, I'll still read it! "
— Caitlin, 1/15/2014" Both the audio and story was new to me. Can hardly believe I put this one off for so long. Review coming at Speaking of Audiobooks. "

— Wendy, 8/13/2013" I picked up this book thinking I would abandon it within the first chapter, but was hooked from the first page. Somehow I was able to believe in unrealistic plots and characters not being true to themselves. "

— Nicky, 8/10/2012" One of the worst romance novels I ever tried to read! I actually couldn't finish it - just disgusting. After the female lead marries her "father" ( the actor that plays him on the TV show that is) I was done. Worst SEP EVER!!! "
— Cindy, 7/20/2012" It was a little stressful getting through some of the sad things the characters had to go through, but was well worth reading. I would get a little stressed and put it down and read another book then go back and read some more. "

— Lisa, 3/15/2011" This book gave me as many ups and downs as the Roller Coaster that's in the book. I almost couldn't finish it when it took its dark side a bit farther than I as a reader was willing to go. I did finish it and was happy to find out how it all ended. "
— Shannon, 3/7/2011" the second book that impacted me so strong. Is one of those stories that you feel like you are the character. "
