"Carolyn Haines has created a wonderful town called Zinnia, Mississippi where a cast of characters lives. If you are looking for a good mystery with interesting people, any of Carolyn Haines' Sarah Booth Delaney Mystery books would be my choice. All the titles have "Bones" in them. The first book was Them Bones. It is best to read them in order as these are on going stories. These books have a mystery, but the interatction between the characters brings me back to each new book. My favorite character is Jitty."

" This book really showcased the friendship between Sarah Booth and Tinkie. It also showed how in the small amount of time that she has been back Sarah Booth has really found her place in the town and among the townspeople. I wish things had worked out with her and Coleman because I would like to see her stick around, and I don't think that will happen with Graf. For some reason I just don't like him. The twists and turns about the cotton and the weevils just kept coming. Some of them I had figured out, but others surprised me. I had figured out what was happening to Sarah Booth right away and was heartbroken to see what happened to her. It will be interesting to see how things play out in the next book. "

" I was desperate for a book last time I went to the library and saw this at the "recommend station." I grabbed it and hoped it would at least entertain me a little. It is a mystery, not my typical read, but the writing is so good and the characters so intriguing that I was hooked. It is a series and I plan on getting the others to read as well. Not to scary that I couldn't read at night, but enough of a mystery that I could not put it down. "

" Genetically modifying bol weevils and causing a CDC epidemic? Stretches credibility a bit. Then Sarah Booth is married to Hollywood hunk Graf Milieu. Add this one to the ridiculous pile. "

" I was glad to see Sarah Boothe back in the Delta and I thought this was a good story and seemed to freshen up the series. It definitely held my interest and I'm hoping in the future to see her back with Coleman or Harold... "
