"Carolyn Haines has created a wonderful town called Zinnia, Mississippi where a cast of characters lives. If you are looking for a good mystery with interesting people, any of Carolyn Haines' Sarah Booth Delaney Mystery books would be my choice. All the titles have "Bones" in them. The first book was Them Bones. It is best to read them in order as these are on going stories. These books have a mystery, but the interatction between the characters brings me back to each new book. My favorite character is Jitty."

" Wonderful characters, fabulous story just love Carolyn's writing and characters "
— Tammy, 2/16/2014" A quick page turner for a Sunday afternoon. Mystery. "
— Linda, 2/14/2014" This is my favorite so far. The mystery was well crafted with a good dose of romance. "
— Patty, 2/9/2014" This book really showcased the friendship between Sarah Booth and Tinkie. It also showed how in the small amount of time that she has been back Sarah Booth has really found her place in the town and among the townspeople. I wish things had worked out with her and Coleman because I would like to see her stick around, and I don't think that will happen with Graf. For some reason I just don't like him. The twists and turns about the cotton and the weevils just kept coming. Some of them I had figured out, but others surprised me. I had figured out what was happening to Sarah Booth right away and was heartbroken to see what happened to her. It will be interesting to see how things play out in the next book. "
— Darcy, 2/1/2014" Took a while to get into it, but is good "
— Pat, 2/1/2014" I was desperate for a book last time I went to the library and saw this at the "recommend station." I grabbed it and hoped it would at least entertain me a little. It is a mystery, not my typical read, but the writing is so good and the characters so intriguing that I was hooked. It is a series and I plan on getting the others to read as well. Not to scary that I couldn't read at night, but enough of a mystery that I could not put it down. "
— Sarah, 1/20/2014" Genetically modifying bol weevils and causing a CDC epidemic? Stretches credibility a bit. Then Sarah Booth is married to Hollywood hunk Graf Milieu. Add this one to the ridiculous pile. "
— Clare, 1/20/2014" Not a bad addition to the series, but not my favorite either. Still an excellent series. "
— â‚, 1/19/2014" I was glad to see Sarah Boothe back in the Delta and I thought this was a good story and seemed to freshen up the series. It definitely held my interest and I'm hoping in the future to see her back with Coleman or Harold... "
— Wendy, 1/17/2014" I just finished my first Carolyn Haines book, Greedy Bones, but it won't be my last. Adorable cozy with plenty of twists and mayhem. Unique starlet as the protagonist is likeable and unexpected. I ordered more of the Bones series. Kudos to Haines! "
— Susan, 12/28/2013" Better than the other book I read in the series...slightly more believable. I won't be reading any more, though. "
— Rebecca, 12/24/2013" CDC can't figure out what th cause or the cure for the illness is. Rhe ill folks all have one thing in common - they all visited a deserted property just before they got sick. Can Sarah Booth Delaney (the name of this series) find out what is making her friends sick before it is too late? "
— Amelia-Irene, 12/14/2013" This is the second in the series that I have read;I completed the entire book at one sitting. I couldn't put it down. "
— Carole, 12/13/2013" This was a good mystery w/ interesting characters. "
— Dawn, 11/18/2013" Cute series... "
— Mary, 10/28/2013" Another great Bones book by Carolyn Haines. I love this series and look forward to reading each one as it comes out. Already can't wait for the next one. "
— Kelly, 9/5/2013" I have some deeper books sitting around waiting to be read, but realized I needed total escapist fluff. This book was perfect for that. It held my interest and had enjoyable characters, just what I need for now. "
— Jo, 8/17/2013" This is such a great series of reading!! :) "
— Gina, 6/12/2013" This book would have been five stars except I felt that the ending was too rushed. I finished reading and had to review how we got to the end, the twists just happened too fast. "
— Joanne, 4/27/2013" Latest in a very entertaining mystery series -- hard to put down! "
— Cindy, 3/12/2013" I've loved every book in this series, but this one is definitely a return to action-packed mystery. I couldn't put it down! "
— Alix, 12/4/2012" I hate having to wait a year in between "Bones" books:( I enjoyed this book very much and can;t wait to read the next one:) "
— Amy, 11/10/2012" I think I've read a few of these books, but I'm not sure. It was pretty entertaining. Nice southern ghost, kind of like the one in Finch whose name escapes me at the moment. "
— Ruth, 7/30/2012" I really enjoy Carolyn Haines' books. I like the way she uses the ghost, Jitty, to provide backstory and insight into Sarah Booth Delaney's character. This isn't heavy reading by any stretch but I enjoy it, especially after a more demanding read. "
