"After being disappointed by the 2nd book in the Edge series I was worried going into this one. My worries were for naught. I loved this book as much as the 1st and was so happy to have George and Jack back as main characters. I won't go into a lot of detail, since its hard to explain this book without giving away spoilers, I will say it is a romance, action packed and will have you on the edge of your seat as you read it."

“A thoroughly entertaining blend of humor, action, misdirection, and romance.”
— Locus“Will leave you breathless.”
— SF Revu“With memorable characters and a different view [of] the Edge, it keeps you interested and coming back for more…great characters great writing…A must-read series.”
— Night Owl Reviews, praise for the seriesRenée Raudman guides listeners through an alternative USA where magic and science fight for hegemony. The result is a fast-paced adventure with a memorable cast of characters. Raudman skillfully portrays Kaldar's suave ruthlessness and Audrey's saucy insouciance. Raudman's dynamic pacing matches the story's rising tension, and her staccato phrasing provides more drama.

— Khristine, 1/6/2014" Not my favorite series by these authors, but entertaining nonetheless. Really love Jack and George, it's the world of the Edge, not the characters, that make this series less compelling for me. "
— Sabrina, 1/4/2014" Seriously. What's up with the cover? "
— Ariana, 1/2/2014" Not my favorite Edge book but very enjoyable "
— Maria, 11/24/2013" The funnest of the Edge books. I mean, they all have the same basic plot, but I liked these characters the most. Wish the series would move forward instead of rehashing the same plot with a new but related character with each installment. I know there is an ace story there waiting to be told. "
— Yazzie, 11/1/2013" Lots of fun. Happy characters from books 1&2 came back. "
— Courtney, 5/23/2013" Fantastic! Bit slow to start, slower than any of the others, but once it got going it was excellent and very hard to put down. "
— Claire, 4/15/2013" I'd give it a 4.5, actually. And... Are they capable of writing a bad book???? Enjoyable and humorous as always, the Edge gets more interesting the more we read of it. And that's pretty damn rare in this genre. "
