Now Briggs begins an extraordinary new series set in Mercy Thompson’s world—but with rules of its own. INTRODUCING THE ALPHA AND OMEGA NOVELS... Anna never knew werewolves existed until the night she survived a violent attack…and became one herself. After three years at the bottom of the pack, she’d learned to keep her head down and never, ever trust dominant males. But Anna is that rarest kind of werewolf: an Omega. And one of the most powerful werewolves in the country will recognize her value as a pack member—and as his mate.

"If you haven't read (or listened) to the previous book Alpha & Omega, you will (especially in the beginning) feel quite lost. That said (and since I fell in love with Charles and Anna in their first short novel) I absolutely loved Cry wolf. How the relationship between this two so very different persons grew stronger, became more than just the mating bond was beautifully told."

" Holter Graham does a great job narrating and Patrica Briggs doesn't disappoint. I love the main characters. "
— Desiree, 3/6/2019" I'm still not crazy about the artwork, Charles looks white for instance, but it was a good adaptation. Full review to come. "
— Bea, 11/27/2013" Prelim Review: Sadly I am still not pleased with the artwork, but I was able to focus more on the story this time since there was a lot of Asil and he's one of my favs. "
— Lexie, 7/29/2012" These are a great companion to the actual series. I love looking at the artist's depiction of the characters. What a great way to complimentthe novels. "
— Jodie, 12/8/2011" Not as good as the Mercy books, but still an intriguing look into this world from another viewpoint. "
— Shymsal, 5/19/2011" Finally a story about Bran's son Charles. I enjoyed Patricia Briggs world development and her take on what it meant to be an Omega. These stories are well developed and not simple clones of the Mercy Thompson series. "
— Margaret, 5/17/2011" This book is in the Alpha and Omega series, which is related to the Mercy Thompson series but with other characters. I liked the book, but it was not as good as the Mercy Thomspon series since the characters were not as interesting. This might just be a personal preference though. "
— Vicki, 5/15/2011" I got about halfway into and then realized I had read this before, but, I enjoyed it, and it was so long ago that I decided to go ahead and finish it.
I don't know what it is about her, but I just love all of Patricia Brigg's series! "
— Amy, 5/12/2011" Interesting peripheral story to the Mercy Thompson series. I likely would have enjoyed this more if I had read the preceding novella. "
— Suzanne, 5/9/2011" It was okay, not one of my favorites but it had a good storyline. "
— Sarah, 5/6/2011" I love the charles and anna story. Its instant atraction for charles on a unsuspecting anna who has been abused and has no idea of her potential as an Omega. He treats her well and is so patient because of her previos pack. It has a great story/ "
— S, 5/5/2011" This was a great read. Really enjoyed it, and I did not want to put it down. All of the characters are fascinating. I never had much interest in werewolves but Briggs manages to make them quite complex and compelling. "
— Skye, 4/30/2011" Not bad for a werewolf story... "
— Abby, 4/30/2011" You will fall in love with Charles almost immediately. You will love Anna. When Bran shows up you will laugh and fall for him as well.

Can't wait to get my hands on Cry Wolf. "
— 4/27/2011" Loved the additional insight into the "pack" especially Bran and Charles. I truly think the world would be a better place if we all had an "omega" to bring peace to the stressful times. Nice concept... Once again a well written and enjoyable story. "
— Kim, 4/22/2011" Not having read On the prowl, I kind of missed an introduction. It felt like I started reading this book in chapter 6 instead of chapter 1. "
