"I read this book solely for Andrews story Alphas: Origins. I enjoyed this one, Henry a side character was great! Lucas the main "hero" (he's more of an anti hero). I see him as the more aggressive 'grrr' alpha male that's prevalent today. But he's an alpha male with a conscience. At least in my opinion. I am kind of on the fence about him. But it is hard to fully draw out a character like Lucas in only 100 pages. I think I would have had a better opinion of him if this was a novel. But I did enjoy this bit and if the Andrews team were to say write more, I would have no qualms about reading more."

" Excellent short story by Nalini!!!! I loved it! "
— Sandy, 2/1/2014" I am not into these angel/guardian stories but Nocturne by Sharon Shinn ( a new author to me)was the different enough with a female lead who wasn't gorgeous and had o.d.d. I was intrigues by Iliona Andrews Alphas Origins which wasn't really about angels but a new kind of aliens humans story with a powerful mom. "
— Lita, 1/18/2014" Good anthology from 4 strong authors "
— Carmen, 1/12/2014" I really like anthologies for a quick read, I really liked three of the stories. "
— Jill, 12/21/2013" I would say maybe 3.5. I only read Nalini Singh's story and Ilona Andrew's Alphas story, which was really good. I hope she writes more in this world with these characters. Nalini Singh's story was okay. "
— Music_lover3, 11/24/2013" Just the Shinn story so far. I am on a Samaria kick, so I dove in and read that one. I lliekd it, it was sad/sweet but didn't grab me like her others in this world do. Mostly because their lives only affect themselves, not everyone else, which is the case with the stories involving the Archangels. "
— Mary, 5/24/2013" the only story i enjoyed was Ilona Andrews "
— Kira, 12/7/2012" An anthology of stories based on angels. I picked this one up for Ilona Andrews' and Nalini Singh's entries, but I enjoyed each story. "
— Marisa, 3/24/2012" I only read the one by Nalini Singh. I really did try to read the one by Ilona Andrews, but it was just too weird and twisted. I was like, what the hell? So yeah, yay Nalini, your writing is as great as ever. "
— Lonelypurplecat, 11/6/2011" I'm not usually a big fan of short stories, but I really liked this collection. "
— Angela, 10/28/2011" This is one of the first 'angel' books I have read and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Three of the four stories are excellent and the fourth did keep my attention with details wrought with fine imagination. "
— faeriecrone, 10/25/2011" I've only read Ilona Andrews story (so far). So the rating is based on Alphas: Origins only. <br/>5 stars! I loved it. LOVED it. I cannot wait for the next novel. This is book getting you places you'd never imagine. I loved how I was always on the verge of brain implosion.LOVED it!! "
— pattepoilue, 10/15/2011" This review is for Alphas: Origins only, I love these authors' writing, such a great story, exciting, I would love to read more of this world. Watch out for swearing, but just so fabulous and well-imagined. "
