Lawrence J. Crabb Jr., PhD (1944–2021) was a well-known psychologist, conference and seminar speaker, Bible teacher, and author of numerous bestselling books, including Finding God, Men & Women, and Silence of Adam. He was the founder of NewWay Ministries, a nonprofit to help ignite a revolution in how Christians live, think, and relate. He lived in Colorado, where he was distinguished scholar-in-residence at Colorado Christian University.

Steven Roy Grimsley is originally from Asheville, North Carolina, and obtained a BA in communication from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee.
