"Another good detective novel by Randy Alcorn. Not my favorite of the three but I did enjoy it. I liked the issues the first 2 in the series dealt with while this was just a good detective novel. I did like the fact that the main character loved Nero Wolfe, one of my favorite detective reads. "

" This book was as good or better than his previous two in this "series". Deadline and Dominion. Randy Alcorn is a great writer. "
— Clara, 2/4/2014" I really enjoyed this book. I thought I had it figured out a couple of times and I didn't. I did finally figure it out, but it kept me thinking for quite a while. "
— Sharon, 1/24/2014" My sister in law loaned me this book and I really enjoyed it. "
— Michelle, 1/10/2014" I love his books. Difficult to put down once I start reading it. "
— Paula, 1/2/2014" Too much detail on the characters. Interesting plot and I really wanted to like it, but it was more of a story about how two friends were trying to convert their friend to Christianity than a murder mystery. Wasn't a keep-me-up-at-night-page-turner. "
— Laurel, 1/1/2014" This book is a good example of Randy Alcorn's gift of story, and makes one want to help the heros work through the issues. However, I read the Kindle version and it was loaded with typos and mistakes, which I assume was not the finished edition? "
— Mac, 1/1/2014" this book was my favorite in this series. The main character is very funny. "Messin' with me is like cheese underwear down rat alley" I got quite a kick out of it but I have a dry and corny sense of humor and this book went right along with that. "
— Shelby, 12/31/2013" Edge of your seat suspense! Read it with the lights on! This is a great suspense story that will leave you reeling from the results. I'll read more of this author! "
— Debbie, 12/30/2013" Alcorn is a fine author. "
— Rachel, 11/24/2013" this is another good book by Randy Alcorn. I think I can't find one of his books that I wouldn't want to share with everyone. Just try one of his books and see if they don't move you. "
— Ona, 11/3/2013" Alcorn is a great fiction writer. This is a book that made me laugh out loud and made me tear up, too. It has suspense and truth and hope. I'm recommending it to many. While reading I discovered it's book 3 of a trilogy - yet the books all stand alone. I will read the first two. "
— Eva, 10/20/2013" This is a long awaited sequel to Dominion by Randy Alcorn. It's written in the rather hard bitting old detective novel style w/ a twist. I like good mysteries and this one kept me wondering until close to the end. "
— Shery, 9/16/2013" Good book by Alcorn. Definitely worth reading. "
— Tim, 9/14/2013" It was a fun to read mystery novel. I loved the descriptions of Portland that are woven into the book. It seemed much lighter than Deadline. "
— Soupyr, 8/9/2013" Great characters. Suspenseful story. Loved it! "
— Julie, 7/22/2013" This is the kind of book that's hard to put down. "
— Jemimah, 12/8/2012" I think the best of all three books "
— Mary, 11/22/2012" A very good mystery... but definitely written for an evangelical Christian audience. "
— Mark, 7/17/2012" One of a series. I don't remember much, but I remember I liked it.. "
— Michelle, 6/30/2012" Good update to the series he started years ago. Always been an Alcorn fan, both of his fiction and non-fiction. "
— Paul, 2/5/2012" I have really liked all the books I have read by Randy Alcorn. "
— Rena, 12/11/2011" Another knock out by Alcomrn! "
— Brian, 5/17/2011" Not nearly as good as the first one. Needs a bit more character development - Ollie and Clarance were getting on just fine in Dominion, and suddenly they hate each other's guts? Confusing. Still, an entertaining read. "
— Tuuli, 2/3/2011" Way too much religion for me. I read and just skipped the passages about the after-life~ Other than that, it was a good detective novel~ "
— Tray, 1/5/2011" Good update to the series he started years ago. Always been an Alcorn fan, both of his fiction and non-fiction. "
— Paul, 10/19/2010" This was a audio good book, liked the characters, especially the dog mowch. "
— Terry, 8/7/2010" I really enjoy Randy Alcorn's books. I am always anxious for the next book to come out. I like his fiction as well as nonfiction. Wonderful "who done it" book. "
— Pam, 7/25/2010" It was a fun to read mystery novel. I loved the descriptions of Portland that are woven into the book. It seemed much lighter than Deadline. "
