Is dying for the truth really better than living with a lie? Find out in this gripping psychological thriller from New York Times bestselling author Ted Dekker and Erin Healy.
Let me tell you all I know for sure. My name: Shauna.
I woke up in a hospital bed missing six months of my memory. In the room was my loving boyfriend—how could I have forgotten him?—my uncle and my abusive stepmother. Everyone blames me for the tragic car accident that left me near death and my dear brother brain damaged. But what they say can't be true—can it?
I believe the medicine is doing strange things to my memory. I'm unsure who I can trust and who I should run from. And I'm starting to remember things I've never known. Things not about me. I think I'm going crazy.
And even worse, I think they want to kill me.
But who? And for what? Is dying for the truth really better than living with a lie?

"I am not a Tedd Dekker fan, however Erin Healy and Ted Dekker are a good combo! This book always keeps you on the edge, however not as bloody and disfunctional as some of Dekker's books. Great redeeming ending, would definitely read some other books that are written in partnership by these authors."
— Lucy (5 out of 5 stars)
" Can't wait for this one to come out! "
— Zanda, 2/9/2014" I thought this was a really good quick read. The main character is a bit hard to relate to at times, but the story flowed nicely with several twists. This is the first book I've read by Dekker... I will be hitting the used book store to read more of his work. "
— Susanne, 2/1/2014" Just okay for me. It had it's moments and those were most likely on the part of Ted Dekker. Not so sure I loved this paring of authors. But this certainly does not taint my love of Dekker in anyway!! "
— Tracy, 1/30/2014" Good, clean, fast read. Mystery with a little sci-fi/fantasy twist. Will have to check out the author's other books. "
— Shayla, 1/27/2014" The Kiss is an excellent read!!! Lots of suspense and when you think you know whodunit you will be surprised!!! "

— Amber, 11/27/2013" just finished this book. it was good. it is your typical Ted Dekker book. Alot of twist and turns that aren't total explained til the very last chapter. I did alot of skimming with this book. "
— Crystal, 11/22/2013" I really enjoyed it. If you've ever read Dekker, most of it was pretty predictable, but near the end, I didn't expect some things. Kiss is a fun, quick read. "
— Renee, 11/17/2013" Another suspense/mystery. Ya just never know what's gonna happen in a Ted Dekker book until the last chapter. "
— Sherry, 8/22/2013" My first Dekker book, altho several friends have recommended him, was good. Even tho there were several timelines going on, they were easy to keep track of and the whole plot developed well. We have a bunch of them, both adult and younger, so I may have to garb them all. "
— Kd, 4/9/2013" Ted Dekker does it once again for me. His innate ability to weave suspense/thriller to spirtual awakenings is matchless! Loved, loved, loved it....did I mention, I loved it. :) "
— Lamarr, 4/4/2013" A good book but a bit mass market for a Ted Dekker book. "

— Hollybrimholly, 7/30/2012" First time reading anything from this author, and I thought it had an intersting storyline. I would have prefered a bit faster pace, but the multiple plots worked well. I will be interested in reading other works from Dekker in the future. "

— Maria, 4/28/2012" Interesting abilities from "drug trials", don't think I would care to steal others memories. "
— April, 4/5/2012" A pretty good mystery that keeps you guessing. Unfortunately, I thought that the main characters "special power" was totally unbelievable. Even with that flaw, the story was still interesting. "
