"This was the audio version. It was hard to put down, a great spy story with a plot line built around a radical muslim terrorist plot using biological warfare. It was a long story, but the constant change in characters and locales kept you interested. Not to mention that it was read by George Guidall."
— Gloria (4 out of 5 stars)
" Thor comes up with interesting plots "
— Joan, 2/20/2014" Another Scot Horvath adventure... "
— Karen, 2/17/2014" It would probably be somehwere inbetween three and four stars if I could have my way. I really liked it. I just got a little confused at times about who was who. So, I had to go back and re-read parts. This was a really intriguing story!! And I learned more about the different groups in the Middle East than I have from any other source. Pretty interesting stuff. At the end I began to wonder how much of it was true...because some of the story line went into what the different groups are trying to accomplish. Anyway, it was a good read. "
— Brittany, 2/14/2014" I have enjoyed reading Thors books. "
— Fish1224, 2/11/2014" THis was my first introduction to the series by Thor, and it was enough to get me hooked! I love all the mystery/intrigue/murder and mayhem that these kind of books bring into my dull suburban life! "
— Kym, 1/24/2014" Scott is just a allrounder, skiing, climbing ......wow ;-) "
— Uwe, 1/21/2014" I wish I could say I liked this book. But the book read like somebody trying to get movie rights sold. Not tell a good story "
— Chris, 1/9/2014" Good book, but a little drawn out. There's lots of action and the story line keeps going and going and going. Not my favorite so far in the series. "
— Larry, 1/8/2014" Each of Brad Thor's books delivers action, mystery, intrigue . . .and history. This book was the best fo the four I have read so far. This could either be Brad Thor's becoming a more accomplished and skillful author or my becoming a better more familiar consumer of his stories. "
— Don, 1/5/2014" Still has that feeling of contrivance that marks Thor's novels, but the character and series development was a lot stronger in this one. Harvath is beginning to become a more real, more likable character. "
— Buddy, 12/25/2013" A fun mystery/thriller. "
— Shay, 12/21/2013" This was a real thriller by Brad Thorn. "
— Cliff, 12/16/2013" Another great action pack novel by BT "
— Dave, 12/8/2013" Probably my least favorite in the series thus far. It was too filled with historical discussions and information that broke up the action and made the story drag. "
— Paul, 11/6/2013" Love this author. He can really write and you get sucked into the story. "
— Lorna, 9/22/2013" Another solid Scot Harvath adventure, this time with a bit of a Dan Brown-esque plot about an ancient bio-weapon. "
— Kyle, 9/3/2013" I skipped most of the middle of this book--just wasn't my cup of tea. I have read several of Thor's other books featuring Scott Havarath and enjoyed them, but this wasn't one I cared for (plot-wise). "
— Carrie, 6/5/2013" I jumped right into this series and flew through the first ones. This one was overly detailed for me. It was almost like reading a history book (which is great for people who really want to dig in). I was just looking to kick back with an action novel and this one hurt my brain. "
— Tina, 1/28/2013" Didn't love this book, not really a page turner. Kind of bogged down in all the details. Maybe 2 1/2 stars, I think that Brad Thor and Scot Harvath are kind of a poor man's version of Vince Flynn and Mitch Rapp. "
— woody, 12/5/2012" Not as good as other Brad Thor books but still a great thriller, summer read. Still looking to read the latest Brad Thor, but it's still in paperback. "
— Resnikfamily, 9/2/2012" Very similar style to the Da Vinci Code. Definitely a page-turner and an easy read, but pretty mindless. I'd recommend it though if you're looking for something to keep you entertained "
— Sara, 7/15/2012" Harvath #4 "
— Bill, 4/20/2012" If you like Vince Flynn then you will like Brad Thor. This book is part of the Scot Harvath series. I didn't realize and now I have to read back to the beginning of the series. Truly enjoyed this book. "
— Mary, 3/26/2012" Fast moving thriller. "
— Mailmanr5, 6/30/2011" I wish I could say I liked this book. But the book read like somebody trying to get movie rights sold. Not tell a good story "
— Chris, 3/28/2011" Love Brad Thops style and suspense. Keeps you wanting to read more. <br/> "
— Judy, 2/3/2011" Scot Harvath is quite a character. This story of intrigue in the Middle East is eye opening and interesting. "
— Diane, 1/25/2011" This was another really good Brad Thor book. I couldn't put it down towards the end of the book. "
— Bill, 10/13/2010" Pretty good for Brad Thor nonsense. "
— Ryan, 9/13/2010" Not as good as other Brad Thor books but still a great thriller, summer read. Still looking to read the latest Brad Thor, but it's still in paperback. "
— Resnikfamily, 9/4/2010" Thought the story line about Hannibal was intersting although the ending was a bit much. "
— Sandra, 8/29/2010" My first Brad Thor book. I liked how he was able to weave the different threads of the story together and keep me interested in the plot and sub-plots. Also enjoyed the history lessons. "
— Tricia, 7/27/2010" Not Brad Thor's best effort, but an entertaining read nonetheless. "
