"Pretty good; it became a page-turner for the last 60 pages. I read for fun and I prefer happy, unflawed heroes and that's what this series has. The plot was complex enough to keep me guessing but not so complex to be hard to follow or to keep track of who's who. The kids are probably a tad too precocious, but inter-agency bickering is at a minimum. I wonder if law enforcement officers having past villains targeting them really happens as much as it does in fiction?"

" This is the typical savich and sherlock fbi series I don't know if maybe I am getting tired of the fbi series or maybe this book just wasn't as good as the others. I read all of this series I think this is something like the 16th book. Maybe its just that its time for a change. "
— Carol, 2/20/2014" Loved it! Love the characters, plot & finish. Catherine Coulter is one of my favorites. "
— Candy, 2/11/2014" This book features characters from one of her earlier books. Because of that, I had a pretty strong inkling of who the bad guy was. The dialogue was a little cornier than usual. "
— Macjest, 2/5/2014" Me and you and a boy named Sue. Wordy, trite, far fetched, forget it! "
— James, 2/1/2014" I can't wait for the next one. Catherine Coulter is one of my favorite authors. "
— Nicole, 1/29/2014" I keep reading this series out of habit but it has become formulaic- a few family moments, some gunfire, some valiant despair on the part of the hero, a few lines of unrealistic dialogue, cameo appearance of a couple from another book. Repeat for 300+ pages. "
— Jody, 1/28/2014" I usually love these books. This time it was too much about the "group" rather than how the crime was solved. "
— Lisa, 1/24/2014" So-So mystery. Unfortunately this author has gone the same way as most of my favourite romantic suspense authors, dropping the romance to being barely there and concentrating on the mystery. Very frustrating as this is my favourite sub-genre and there aren't many writing in this genre anymore.... most either going paranormal or erotic :( "
— LibraryLass, 1/18/2014" Can't wait until the next one comes out. "
— Lori, 1/12/2014" Classic Coulter. An absolutely excellent mystery. Keeps you captivated from start to finish. Not to be missed. "
— Jakenv, 1/9/2014" Surprised me with the ending. Typical mystery for these two FBI agents. "
— Nancy, 1/2/2014" More Sherlock and Savich! "
— Janna, 12/28/2013" As usual, I enjoyed Savich and Sherlock. Good and fast reading. waiting for the next one. "
— Valerie, 12/12/2013" Well written. Intricate plot. Attractive characters. "
— Clearwater178, 11/30/2013" This story was excellent. Catherine's writing in this story was not so far out as her last book "Split Second". This novel is fabulous and you should enjoy it. "
— Anita, 8/29/2013" Was a good book. Have read all Catherine Coulter FBI series. "
— Karps, 8/26/2013" As always Catherine delivers an action packed novel complete with mystery and romance... "
— Ken, 5/13/2013" while I enjoy reading the series, at some point it got a bit ho-hum and I lost interest. not typical of me at all..., "
— Natalie, 3/21/2013" It was awesome, but it did bog down a bit in the middle. I love how the story intertwined and bring back old familiar characters in a we way. "
— Stacey, 3/20/2013" Her FBI books are always good. "
— Melanie, 12/7/2012" Another great Dillon and Sherlock Savich (FBI agents)book! I've read the whole series and liked them all. "
— E, 9/20/2012" It wasn't the best of the series...starting to worry that too many books is causing the FBI series to become monotone and boring. "
— Emily, 8/8/2012" Hard to beat her FBI thrillers! "
