About the Authors

Holly Black is the #1 New York Times bestselling and award-winning author of speculative and fantasy novels, short stories, and comics. She has sold over twenty-six million books worldwide, and her work has been translated into over thirty languages and adapted for film.

Justine Larbalestier is an Australian American writer who was born and raised in Sydney. Her solo novel Liar received starred reviews from four major review publications, was short-listed for eleven awards and won four, and was named a best book of the year by Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), School Library Journal, Bank Street Books, and Michigan Thumps Up, as well as winning the 2010 White Ravens Award from the International Youth Library. She also wrote How to Ditch Your Fairy and the Magic or Madness trilogy, as well as coedited the Zombies vs. Unicorns anthology with Holly Black. Justine lives in Sydney, Australia, where she gardens, boxes, and tweets far too much.

About the Narrators

Ellen Grafton has narrated numerous audiobooks, many in the kids and young adult categories. She can be heard on such titles as Duff, Girls Acting Catty, New Beginnings, and several of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Teens Talk series.

Nick Podehl is a professional voice actor. He has narrated numerous audiobooks, many of which have won prestigious awards, including fourteen AudioFile Earphones Awards. He currently lives and works around Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his wife.

Kate Rudd, actress and Earphones Award–winning narrator, has appeared in several independent films and shorts, as well as in multiple episodes of the television show Perks. As an audiobook narrator she has been a finalist for the prestigious Audie Award for best narration.

Julia Whelan is a novelist, screenwriter, lifelong actor, and multiple award-winning audiobook narrator. She graduated with a degree in English and creative writing from Middlebury College and Oxford University. She is a former child actor who has appeared in multiple films and television shows.

Phil Gigante has narrated more than two hundred audiobooks, earning ten AudioFile Earphones Awards and three of the prestigious Audie Awards for best narration. An actor, director, and producer with over twenty years of experience in theater, film, television, and radio, he is currently the artistic director of Gigantic Productions and Little Giant Children’s Theatre.

James Langton, an Earphones Award–winning narrator, trained as an actor at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and later as a musician at the Guildhall School in London. He has worked in radio, film, and television, also appearing in theater in England and on Broadway. He is also a professional musician who led the internationally renowned Pasadena Roof Orchestra from 1996 to 2002.
