"All of Janet Evanovich's novels are a hoot but this one really had me giggling at the absurd things that went on. I loved this novel, it was light and easy to read. The characters were hilarious and the plot was really good. I found it interesting all the way through. Definitely a good read! "

Lorelei King turns the hunt for the Gluttony stone into a wild romp…Evanovich fans won't be disappointed.
— AudioFile magazine" This book should have been TERRIBLE. Janet Evanovich writes ... not well at best. Her first person narrative is lame, the use of "my name is" as an opening line to introduce a character is pedestrian, there are so many things wrong with book including but not limited to: a Thor/Loki ripoff from the Avengers movie series, a reincarnated monkey and a cat with a glass eye. And yet, after awhile, I found the ridiculousness and dysfunction to charming. I like Diesel and Lizzy. The lack of sex was refreshing, although there was some fairly pedestrian, kind of clunky lusty scenes. Read by the pool while you're checking your email, if you concentrate any harder than that, you're head will hurt. "
— Carmela, 2/12/2014" Not enough of the story but loved it. "
— Katie, 1/16/2014" I started these books backwards. This was the second book of her's that I read & it captured me. If you work all day & just want to sit back & laugh this is the way to go. "
— Stephanie, 1/14/2014" This was a fun book! Very closely related to the Stephanie Plum books and situations, but there were a lot of laugh out loud moments. When Lizzy got hit with the gluttony charms and the entire Shirley episode made me laugh. "
— Kristin, 1/11/2014" An enjoyable, quick read that had me laughing out loud. Set in Salem, MA there was a bit of magic, a hint of romance (well maybe lust) and a race to find lost objects. "
— Chris, 1/6/2014" This is the 1st novel I have read by her and will probably be my last. Dumbest book ever in my opinion!!!!!! "
— Kathy, 12/8/2013" This is my 1st Janet Evanovich book but I loved it!!! I can't wait to read the next one!!! "
— Deanna, 12/5/2013" I read it a few years ago. It may be racier than what I read these days. It also has one of my favorite ingredients, if I recall correctly, supernatural power. "
— Aliza, 12/2/2013" Not my favorite of the series with diesel... Maybe because it's a new category on its self... But still looking forward to read the next one... "
— Tatiana, 11/20/2013" Very light fast read. Some humor. "
— Vicki, 11/17/2013" Fun and fast. Takes your mind offa things! "
