Author Holly Black

Holly Black is the bestselling author of contemporary fantasy novels for teens and children. She is best known for writing the Spiderwick Chronicles, a series of fantasy books for children; all of the books were adapted into a major motion picture in 2008. Her first novel, Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale, was published in 2002. Her novella, The Wrath of Mulgarath reached the top of the New York Times bestseller list in 2004. She is also a frequent contributor and editor to a number of anthologies, including Geektastic, Zombies vs. Unicorns, and Bordertown. A graudate of the College of New Jersey, Black lives in Amherst, Massachusetts.
