"Such a fun and heart-warming story. I had given up on these Cynsters many books ago and bought this one on a whim. Lucky choice because I loved this book and can't wait to read the next one in the series. It reminded me of the early Julia Quinn books with great characters, funny moments and real romance simmering throughout the pages. Did I mention the very sexy scenes ?? Those were a bit too long I admit, somethimes it was like they would not end it !! Anyway, if you're in for a light sexy adn sweet romance this one is most certainly for you."

— New York Journal of Books“Charming and entertaining as always, this sixteenth tale of the series has strong family values; passionate characters; daring, madcap adventures, and heated love scenes.”
— RT Book Reviews (4 stars)“Laurens’ fans will enjoy this tale of vile villains, a repentant rake, and a sassy spinster.”
— Publishers Weekly“Nonstop adventure, an intriguing plot, clever, resourceful characters, and plenty of Laurens’ trademark passion will make this…another favorite of Cynster fans.”
— Library Journal“Perfect for rainy days or indulgent afternoons, Viscount Breckenridge to the Rescue is another strong addition to Laurens’ canon.”
— Fresh Fiction" Good book and the actor Matthew brenhar narrator was awesom amaizing voice one of the best. "
— rapo, 9/4/2016" Oh such a fun scenario - a cranky hero in love that is :) "
— Milena's, 2/20/2014" I liked the basic idea of the storyline but the book would have been much stronger if it would have been about 200 pages shorter. (I skimmed through the first 250 pages.) I'm not sure I have it in me to read the next two in the series. (The charactors were also a little annoying at times.) "
— Mieken, 2/19/2014" If you like a lot of descriptive sex this is the book for you. The basic story is a Victorian romance with a kidnapping thrown into the plot. A quick read. "
— Tanya, 2/18/2014" Another great story by Stephanie Laurens, the adventure was fun and at time intense ... "
— Macwolf01, 1/17/2014" Was so nice to read Laurens again! "
— Danette, 1/8/2014" See my review of In Pursuit of Eliza Cynster. "
— Jean, 1/1/2014" I always enjoy a Stephanie Laurens book and this was no different. I am intrigued by the Scottish Laird and will eagerly read the next book in the series. "
— Steph, 12/8/2013" This is the 3rd Cynster novel that I've tried and I just don't care enough about the characters to continue. Unless I can find one of the first ones in the series, I'll just stick to reading about them as secondary characters in Bastion Club and Black Cobra books. Disappointing "
— Rachel, 10/10/2013" Hadn't read the first in the series so it was nice to add it to the SL pile. Never disappointed! "
— Barbara, 10/7/2013" Another good romance from Stephanie Laurens. Someone was out to kidnap one of the Cynster girls. Heather was the unlucky girl. Someone had to rescue her. "
— Sharon, 8/14/2013" I usually love everything by Laurens but this one just didn't grab me. There wasn't enough sexual tension and alpha male protectiveness that I love about Laurens. "
— Victoria, 4/10/2013" It was ok, unfortunatly all of the books are starting to become alike, somone is kidnapped, get rescued, fall in love and marry the hero. "
— Diana, 3/9/2013" If you like a lot of descriptive sex this is the book for you. The basic story is a Victorian romance with a kidnapping thrown into the plot. A quick read. "
— Tanya, 11/6/2011" It was ok, unfortunatly all of the books are starting to become alike, somone is kidnapped, get rescued, fall in love and marry the hero. "
— Diana, 11/4/2011" See my review of In Pursuit of Eliza Cynster. "
— Jean, 10/28/2011" 3.5 stars.

This is a fairly typical historical romance. It was well written, but the characters started to wear on me after a while. "
— Laura, 10/22/2011" Another enjoyable installment in the series. A must for all Stephanie Laurens fans. "
— Erin, 10/11/2011" Stephanie Laurens disappointed me in this one. The first half of the book was good. Girl gets kidnapped, male rides to the rescue. But the second half was a bit flat with the two leads constantly misunderstanding each other. I think it was dragged out way too long. "
— Yvonne, 10/8/2011" An interesting plot gummed up by way too many over-the-top love scenes (as usual with Laurens). "
— MB, 10/5/2011" First book I have read by this author. Might have to check out the rest of the series. Not sure why it says "Three heroes, three rescues, three weddings." on the front, though... "
— Amanda, 10/2/2011" Needed some editing (removal of pages), but great story. "
