Ensconced in a lovely tropical villa on idyllic Triggerfish Lane, Jim Davenport anticipates the good life to come. But this isn't living-it's Florida-and the neighborhood is not quite what it seems. It's got overly aggressive Little League parents, drug-free Rastafarians, homicidal hookers, unnatural sex and casual violence. Oh, yes, and there's a psychopathic serial killer-cum-Sunshine-State folklorist named Serge A. Storms living directly across the street. So it's only a matter of time before Jim up and actually kills somebody . "Imagine the violence of Edna Buchanan married to the skewed worldview of Dave Barry; now you're ready to meet Tim Dorsey."-Booklist "Triggerfish Twist makes for twisted fun . a must-read book on this summer's list."-Tampa Tribune

"Another great book from Tim Dorsey. He has a great talent for making you laugh, keeping you on the edge of your sit and entertaining you. He throws so many story lines at you and so many words you don't think you can keep up and then at the end he pulls it all together. He is an amazing writer with great characters, great story lines and great books. This is another fun adventure we get to go on with our lovable serial killer Serge and his always high side kick Coleman. The love /hate relation between Mahoney and Serge is in full swing in this book. So many story lines it's hard to describe them all, all I can say; This, just like his other books, will not disappoint you!"

" Another crazy spin around Florida with Serge. "
— Mailmanr5, 2/20/2014" Fantastically twisted book where the characters you enjoy the most are a deranged, but lovable, serial killer/historian and his drug-addled sidekick. These books can take a little time to get into and understand, but they're worth the effort if you like you humor dark and crazy. "
— Nicole, 2/12/2014" Funny in parts but it takes the plot forever to get going. Dorsey is a completely unoriginal writer who ought to owe Hiaasen some money. "
— Laura, 1/27/2014" I was hoping to find something comparable to Carl Hiassen. Unfortunately, it's not Tim Dorsey. Crazy plots, but not very funny. 1.5 stars would be more accurate. "
— Skip, 1/22/2014" Really enjoyed this book. Nothing deep. Just a good ol' Florida crime novel starring Serge A Storms. "
— Dave, 1/20/2014" Love anything by Tim Dorsey --- but better if you start at the beginning and then go for the entire series. These books are great especially if you know the "old Florida" before Disney came to town. Serge focuses on all the great old Florida tourist icons and roadside attractions. If you are into this stuff this series is a HOOT!! "
— Beth, 1/19/2014" This book got quite a few chuckles out of me. I enjoyed the characters, the story and how it all ended up coming together. "
— Kerry, 1/18/2014" First book I read from Mr. Dorsey and loved it so much I started reading as much as I could by him. "
— Kim, 1/10/2014" a little bit of silly summer reading... "
— Marnie, 12/27/2013" Once in a while I need a bit of gritty and Serge supplies it. Thanks! "
— Angie, 12/10/2013" A very funny novel, about hit men, an unlucky soul in Florida. "
