" Wasn't sure at first if I'd like this book...seemed like it could be a bit stuffy after just reading the inside cover, but that quickly changed as I got past the first 10 pages. Very touching story about long lost loved, sacrifice and dedication. I loved the historical aspect as Natalie told about her love story with Carl through the Depression and WWII. "

" This is a wonderful escape book that makes you feel good. It shows the courage that women have always had in life. I love books that outline families and how they perceive each other, especially when it deals with children's perceptions of their mother and the reality that the mother faced. Definately a book I would read again! "
