"I loved the setting of this story in the Alaskan Inuit Community. It was definitely a very unique story and I found myself always wondering what would happen next. This was my first time reading a book by Jodie Picoult and I was impressed. I liked her writing style and the overall concept of the story. The fact that the topic of 'rape' was included was a shock factor but it allowed the story to unravel in a mystifying chain of events."

" It was a great book to listen to. Jodi Picoult dealt with a very sensitive issue in a respectful and eye opening way. The listener really has a hard time feeling g anger toward either side at the end. "

— Tania, 3/4/2017" Again...she nails it on the head with this one, all the way to the end. Loved the culture mix, learned a few things! Picoult is masterful at showing us both sides of the medal. "

— Marie, 2/14/2017" The Tenth Circle, was a great book. I wasnt sure if I was going to like it, but I loved it! There were comics placed through out the book, I thought that was kinda cool. The book had me on edge, I was so sad, happy, nervous, and wondering. It was great. I am going to go check out more of Jodi Picoults books . I loved this one "
— Caty, 2/17/2014" I enjoyed this book. It was an interesting topic. Lots of emotion and self-doubts in the characters. It is amazing how people come to a conclusion without always knowing the facts. They can be very hurtful. The book kept moving and was hard to put down. "
— Kdmayes, 2/15/2014" An epic tale of love and family, and the lengths to which people go in order to protect their loved ones. "
— Anthea, 2/13/2014" I read this book years ago because it was assigned for a book club. It is poorly written and ill-conceived. Hard to believe the author has sold millions. Ugh. "
— Christina, 2/11/2014" This book kept me on edge enough to see what was going to happen, but I really hated the characters. They were all selfish people, which made me hate the book. AND too much romance in it for my taste. "
— Jean, 1/24/2014" So-so... I had fun finding the letters for the quote. "
— Sasha, 1/14/2014" Sigh. Yeah. Let's see...I would def. say the father was my fav. character. Trixie...I found it hard to feel sympathy for her and she was largely obnoxious to me. She was very one sided. Low self esteem, always presented as rather pathetic...(I'm in no means trying to be callous to the situation she went through--but I would have liked to have gotten to KNOW the Trixie BEFORE this experience and her not be so flat a character.) I really thought Moss would be it in the end and, personally, I would have enjoyed that direction more had she chosen it I think. Eh, potential...but not impressed. On to better things now... :) "
— Casey, 1/13/2014" It was okay not the ending I expected. it wasn't bad but kind of depressing. A book you do not want to read if you're already blue. It does take you on an adventure. "
— Wanda, 1/2/2014" I usually like Jodi Picoults book but this one kind of dragged on in my opinion...moved at too slow of a pace for me "
— Katie, 12/27/2013" I love Jodi Picoult! And although this wasn't one of my favorite of hers, I still have to give it to her! "
— Carolyn, 12/27/2013" I really liked this book because it was the first Jodi Picoult book that I read. I love her wtiting style and liked the drama that went on. "
— Amanda, 12/7/2013" I really liked this book. It was not what I expected. It is a little darker from what Jodi Picoult usually writes, but it still had the fundamental dynamics about families that she often writes about. "
— Ellen, 11/30/2013" Author, Jodi Picoult, has flair .....she weaved comics into this book! I would recommend this book to anyone with a teenage daughter. The story is difficult for a parent but the realities are there and in life, it's better to face the truth than to risk the alternative. "
— Tracy, 11/29/2013" There were points of this book that I really enjoyed Picoult's writing, but I didn't love the book as a whole. I also didn't particularly like the graphic novel bits. In fact, I skipped them after about the second installment. "
— Kelly, 11/24/2013" This book was amazing, although the ending kind of confused me a little bit, and I was definitely not expecting it! My favorite parts were the little comic book bits at the beginning of each chapter. It really added a lot of creativity into the book. I loved it, 4 stars :) "
— Makayla, 11/17/2013" Not one of her best "
— Nicole, 9/22/2013" This was a good book - i would have given it 5 stars, but the end was a bit long and drawn out. jodi Picoult is such a fabulous writer - I am never disappointed! "
— Mary, 8/20/2013" Parts of this one was really slow and it was hard to get into. "
— Shelley, 8/12/2013" Not sure I could recommend this one. "
— Carla, 8/8/2013" Excellent beach read. Typical Picoult - dark but fully engaging with some plot twists that will make you cringe. "
— Alex, 6/7/2013" The first half was really intriguing and was a real page-turner. The second half lost momentum and was quite disappointing as the plot became weaker... "
— Stacey, 3/16/2013" Enjoyed it, but was getting a little Picoult'ed out at this point. "
— Joanie, 1/8/2013" Good read but not up to the authors previous standards. "
— Debbie, 1/2/2013" Ending doesn't really come together but a couple of interesting characters. "
— Cally, 7/3/2012" Did not enjoy this one as much as other Picoult novels I have read. It was typical of her very real life but at the same time unbelievable plots about parents and teenagers, but the ending sort of left me hanging. "
— L, 3/10/2012" Great novel, very thought provoking and a story that will stay with you long after you finish the last page. "
— Nicole, 11/26/2011" I love Jodi Picoult, but this is not one of my favorites. I am glad that I read it, but I am not into the whole graphic thing in this book. I preferred her other books over this one. "
— Melissa, 10/14/2011" Probably my least favorite boom by Picoult. Dissappointimg. "
— Tanya, 9/28/2011" This was okay. I wasn't a big fan of it and I usually love her books. It was a bit too philosophical for me. (?) (not sure if that's the right way of putting it) "
— Agodley89, 5/24/2011" the ending could have been better. :/ "
— Maha, 5/24/2011" I love Jodi Picoult, and this was one of her really good ones. Just when I would start to figure things out, everything changed and twisted. Kept me on my toes! "
— Anna, 5/23/2011" Intense. Picoult has a way of writing that gives you hints of what is to come, but still leaves you piecing it all together. Reading about messed up lives is better than having it be mine. The more I read of her books, the more I understand why my friend Jackie likes them so much. "
— Michele, 5/21/2011" Not my favorite Jodi Picoult book because I didn't understand the comics. "
— Caroline, 5/15/2011" This was an interesting book. Not one of my favorites because of the way the story unfolds, but the usual Picoult surp;rise at the end. I felt more time needed to be spent on the mother, Laura, to make it truly believable. "
— Katherine, 5/12/2011" This book is really good.
I loved the ilustrations and also the story is very well told.
Only some parts have been pretty boring but all in all the book is really good. "
— Celin, 5/11/2011" I liked the book. I love Jodi Picoult's books but the thing that I was upset about was that I was able to guess the ending before the end of the book. But this was a good book "
— Chole, 5/10/2011" This was a good book, and I really liked it. There were, however, a couple of parts that confused me and I had to go back and reread it. But it's still a good book and I encourage everyone to read it. "
— Hannah, 5/8/2011" This is the book that made me fall in love with Jodi Picoult. Couldn't put the book down, and thought I thought it might have been better if it ended a bit sooner, i couldn't put it down for the majority and I really loved it. "
— Megs, 5/6/2011" Not my favorite Jodi Picoult book. Interesting, but I did not identify with the main characters as I usually do. I also thought it was a little predictable unlike most of her other novels. Still enjoyed it nevertheless! "
— Jamie, 5/4/2011" Jodi manages to keep you up all night rummaging through the pages of the book "
— Ani, 5/4/2011" Mediocre. I accept that Jodi Picoult has a particular plot template that works for her, and I tend to enjoy her books (as one would enjoy popcorn for a snack - nothing much to it, but can't stop snacking). But this one really didn't excite me. "
— Caitlin, 5/2/2011" i read this after reading the dante club so was a good to follow up with. I like jodi's books this one did not dissappoint. had some humor which is refreshing from her usually soso semotional writing. "
