Green-eyed Malcolm Cole is a cursed werewolf, an alpha in the most
powerful sense who has given up hope for any kind of happiness or peace
in his life.
Until he catches wind of Claire.
Claire
St. James, Charlie among friends, is an amazing young woman with an
incredibly special gift. Cole recognizes this at once and swears on the
spot to claim Charlie as his mate.
Of course, he isn't the only
one with such plans. Charlie is too precious to let go without a fight,
and one of the most powerful alphas in the world has already staked a
claim, whether Charlie—or Cole—like it or not.

"This is the second book in Heather Killough-Walden's Big Bad Wolf series. This isn't a bad series. The characters are engaging and while the wolves are pretty alpha for even my taste they fit into this world well. So far there is on more in this series and I know I'll read it."
— Robin (4 out of 5 stars)
" Three stars, because of all the rape scenes. "
— Monique, 2/8/2014" This was Malcolm's story and it was good. One thing I noticed was it never mentioned if Lily and Claire are related. They share the same last name, but nothing every came up. "
— Julie, 2/7/2014" Page turner... but beware some very intense torture scenes.. not for the faint of heart. "
— Silver, 1/31/2014" Great Book, loved Cole and Charlie, wonderful story line "
— Marti, 1/16/2014" Misunderstood Malcolm! The dark demanding alpha, who walks the earth in a curse that he must bare! "
— Karen, 1/8/2014" this is the 2nd in the series and as with all the books it has different main characters dealing with different wolves trying to find their mates... and although it was well written and definitely added to the story... i found myself a little queasy over some of the happenings in it... the main girl gets tortured pretty badly and i almost don't want to recommend it to anyone just because of those parts... she definitely doesn't gloss over anything... but the story is essential in the series and those bits where it does get bad are important in revealing how evil the other wolf is... but i definitely won't reread this particular book "
— R.G., 1/7/2014" Lots of questions at the end of this book, but I guess there's more coming as I've just found "The Hunt". I'm guessing the answers I want will. Be there. "
— Lydia, 12/31/2013" The best book of the series. "
— Lacy, 12/9/2013" Thought it was good, but i thought she could have added more alone time for Cole and Charlie. "
— Melissa, 12/8/2013" Ugh really good- Amazing plot and book love this series "
— Danielle, 12/2/2013" I love these characters! Thought it was a great read! Couldn't put it down. . . "
— Janetlee, 10/22/2013" She did it to me again!!! Couldn't put it down! "
— cristina, 7/31/2013" Another great book from the series. "
— Renee, 5/2/2013" Although I really like this book and this series, it was very difficult for me to read the part of the character Phelan. He is so very violent and evil that it was hard for me to keep reading and I wanted to skip through the pages of his torture of Charlie. "
— Niki, 4/15/2013" WONDERFUL SERIES....STORMED THROUGH ALL THREE....WAITING ON 4TH "
— Anita, 4/12/2013" It was better than the first book in the series, but it wasn't great! "
— Syd, 11/2/2012" Love this series! can't wait for the 3rd!! God Bless the Kindle store and their $1 books! "
— Jiffypop, 5/22/2012" This was a good book....despite the reviews that I read...I really liked it...It was a little darker than the first book in the series...and again for adult audiences only...Interested to see how the third book turns out next month. "
— Nicole, 4/30/2012" Too much violence and bad sex and I'm really tired about young females werewolves kidnapped, maybe something new would be better. Going for the next one anyway, want to see if it's going to get better, because I really loved the first one with angels involved... "
— GONZA, 2/29/2012" Decent read. Nothing like other authors.... But it passed the time until Born To Darkness came out :) "
