" should read this over and over again "

" I started reading this book several years ago and then it got put on hiatus. My guess is that it was by divine appointment. This book was an excellent reminder to me that our spiritual journey is not just a laundry list of do's and dont's and theological facts--it is indeed a soul stirring romance. Curtis and Eldredge call us to view our spiritual journies as epic adventures frought with danger and beauty. This book does not focus on the hows so much as the whats and whys. "

" completely changed my life spiritually! "

" This book was recommended to me by a pastor at a time in my life when I was struggling with what I believe and many other things. It gave me a picture of how much God wants to relate to me personally and kind of an overview of the world from a Biblical standpoint that I had not really considered before. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Amy | 1/25/2014

" this book is written much like a love song, poem or story. So it really lives up to its title! It is a great challenge for me though, as I find it hard to love God in similar ways as I do my earthly loved ones. But this book challenges me to do just that, love God in a radically passionate way. "

" This was on my bookshelf, so I thought I'd give it a try. There is just too much personal history of the authors that is represented as 'How God Works in People's Lives'. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jamie Hill | 12/17/2013

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Karina Harris | 12/7/2013

" This book was an epiphany for me. It truly brought home, probably for the first time, the love story of Christ actively pursuing ME...of doing whatever it takes to win me...just like Cinderella. How could I possibly turn away from that deep, unfathomable love? "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Pam | 7/21/2013

" This book revolutionized my faith and caused me to rethink a lot of things. I discussed the book with two groups of women. We listened to music, watched movies, and journaled through each chapter. In my top 10! "
