For as long as it has stood overlooking New England’s jagged coastline, Lexington House has been the witness to madness…and murder. But in recent years the inexplicable malice that once tormented so many has lain as silent as its victims. Until now.
A member of the nation’s foremost paranormal forensic team, Jenna Duffy has made a career out of investigating the inexplicable. Yet nothing could prepare her for the string of slayings once again plaguing Lexington House, or for the chief suspect—a boy barely old enough to drive, much less kill.
With the young man’s life on the line, Jenna must team up with attorney Samuel Hall to pinpoint who—or what—is taking the lives of those who get too close to the past. But everything they learn brings them closer to the forces of evil stalking this tortured ground.

"This is another Heather Graham novel that does not disappoint. I know this is a series, I have not read it in order & don't really have to. I've always been intriqued with the Salem Witch Trials and this book takes place in Salem, Mass & the paranormal forensic team is investigating a house that has had many murders in the past & trying to figure out what happens to the owners. Very intriquing, suspensful with a little romance thrown in."

" I really liked the first 3 books of this series. This one...not so much. It just seemed so very slow. Maybe because it wasn't the whole team investigating. It just didn't keep my attention. I couldn't finish it. "
— Kimmie, 1/20/2014" Love this series. Captivating story lines and characters in each one, with just enough spookiness to let you still sleep with the lights out. "
— Donnette, 1/17/2014" I cannot tell you how many typo's I found in this book...... "
— Lynnell, 1/13/2014" Gave us some good background yet not enough to to make it boring. I enjoyed that. Enough suspects and reasons to chose them and try to figure out on your own. Made you think one person was going to solve the crime when two did and yet there was another twist also. Plus there were recipes at the end which was really nice thanks. "
— Lori, 1/6/2014" Decent read, relatively predictable, nice for when you want something brainless. "
— Sara, 1/5/2014" This book was disappointing because it was a lot like the movie Scream. "
— Clarissa, 1/2/2014" I truly enjoy Heather Graham's books, and this one ranked as another favorite. The setting, pacing and characters make for a fast read, but an intriguing one! Her Krewe of Hunters series is definitely worth the read. "
— Narielle, 12/19/2013" ok.. so even I can take a 'ghost' story now and then.. at least Heather Graham - who has published tons of books - keeps the story going and gives you a pageturner.. "
— Sue, 12/14/2013" I found this book very hit and miss. Even though it's pretty obvious right from the start who was behind the murders, the characters and story keep things engaging. "
— Jim, 9/4/2013" This was a good book, just not as juicy as her others. It kept me in the dark until close to the end. "
— Sam, 9/3/2013" Ghosts in Salem? Of course! But, can they influence the living and make a devout boy kill his entire family? That is the question. "
— Sara, 8/30/2013" This is the book that got me hooked on the Krewe of Hunters series. First Heather Graham book I ever read and I loved it! "
— Sara, 8/27/2013" Typical light read but good around Halloween. "
— Kelly, 8/14/2013" Quick read. It's a good conclusion to the Krewe of Hunters books "
— Allie, 4/25/2013" Can always count on heather for a quick, entertaining read: A pretty couple hot for each other, thrown together under odd circumstance, a mystery, a few murders here and there, and there you go. "
— LoudVal, 3/25/2013" Another excellent book in the series. This time set in Salem MA at Halloween! "
— Julia, 1/25/2013" I love this series. Hope there are more to come. Until that happens I will be catching up on her backlist. "
— Gerri, 11/25/2012" Another good "weeny weeny" novel. I love this kind! "
— Sharla, 5/19/2012" Good book....interesting story. Enjoyed it...though it was a little predictable...I had it figured out pretty early on in the book but still enjoyed the read. "
— Shawn, 2/20/2012" You got one star because Good reads has rate to put out negative star ratings!

Finally finished the worst series on the planet. Save yourself some time and find another series to read. I may never forgive Graham for this abomination she called a series! NEVER!!! "
— Beanse, 11/4/2011" Have gotten halfway through the book and can't believe how boring it is. I think it might be my state-of-mind so will put it aside and try it again in a few monhts or so. "
— Kathy, 10/21/2011" Typical light read but good around Halloween. "
— Kelly, 10/17/2011" Sometimes you just want a juicy book to read in your spare minutes. This barely qualifies. It really doesn't engage you so you care about the characters. "
— Wendy, 10/12/2011" I was a bit disappointed in this book. It was well written, the writing was excellent but I thought that there would be more supernatural elements in it. The ending also seemed a bit farfetched to me. "
— Karen, 10/11/2011" The third installment of her Krewe of Hunters, good but not quite as good as the other two "
— Doris, 9/23/2011" Great story. I hope there are more of these to come. "
— Charlene, 9/14/2011" It was Jenna's turn to get some happiness. and appearly towards the end of the book, we find out that Whiteny from the another book got married to the guy that she was with. "
— Brianna, 8/25/2011" Good book with a good mystery, however, I wish there was more ghost scenes in it. It didn't have as many supernatural elements as the last two. "
— Shyloh, 8/15/2011" I really enjoyed the Salem and Halloween aspects of this book. Again a great Krewe Hunters book full of ghosts, spirits, and evil. "
— Kristy, 8/12/2011" This book is Heather Graham at her finest. I hope there will be more books from the Krewe of Hunters. "
