Publisher Description

The details of the crime scene are no coincidence. The body – a promising starlet – has been battered, bloodied and then discarded between two of Manhattan’s oldest graveyards. One look and Detective Jude Crosby recognizes the tableau: a re-creation of Jack the Ripper’s gruesome work. But he also sees something beyond the actions of a mere copycat. Something more dangerous…and unexplainable. As the city seethes with suspicion, Jude calls on Whitney Tremont, a member of the country’s preeminent paranormal investigating team, to put the speculation to rest. Yet when Whitney and Jude delve deeper, what they discover is more shocking than either could have predicted, and twice as sinister….

"This is a murder mystry that really gets you inerested in crime history. This book is about the infamous jack the ripper coming BACK and murdering young prositutes and actresses on the streets of present day New York. the young head detective Jude Crosby has to pair up with a special FBI team that can see ghost! Jude Crosby not very happy with these "ghost busters",and trys to stay professional whith them ends up falling in love with one of their members Whitney Tremont. Yet while Jude tries to solve the case of the Jack the Ripper wannabe, Whitney begins seeing the ghost of some of the real Jack the Rippers victems who try to help her with the case, but Whitney does'nt whant Jude to think she's crazy and does'nt tell him. The pretend Ripper kills a actress who was in a movie called O'l Learys that was being filmed by an old spiritual house so the team investigates the movie directer and all the other actors to find the truth, while the murderure is recreating all of the Old times London Jack the Ripper. The characters are very well described in personality and appearance wise. This book takes the unsolved mysterie of Jack the Ripper and takes it further beyond than just London. It has really done its research on the Ripper and has taken the thouhgt that the Ripper has left London and whent to America after his last kill. It follows its plot to the end and leaves a lot of suspense along the way. This is a highly recommended to people who enjoy mysteries and a bit of scifi. This is more of a young adult book and people who get deffended easiley should'nt read this. It is very detailed on the victims and has colorful language, as well as some intimate scenes. It really is a good book that I enjoyed reading and I hope that if you ever get the chance to read it as well, that you to will enjoy it."

" This was the first audio book I've ever listened to and I loved it. My one big complaint was that the guy who was reading it... his female voices sounded like a deep south whore that was trying to seduce you. It really annoyed me that all the women minus Jenna sounded like that too. I'm thinking wait this takes place in NYC. But all in all a book I'd recommend whether in audio version or traditional. "

" I liked the book. I wouldn't say I loved it because after having read so many, I don't get the same excitement at finishing one of Graham's stories anymore. I will say, however, I liked how she set up the idea of multiple suspects just when you thought the case was over. "

" I've never read this author before and probably wouldn't again. Decent murder mystery plot, but way too much paranormal ghost stuff that I am not in to. Ghost dog also leads to a randomly "hurry up and write an ending" conclusion that doesn't leave you satisfied. Interestingly, after the epilogue, there is a cocktail and steak recipe that may end up being the most wonderfully random inclusion, and the most interesting and useful part. "

" So it isn't very often that I get completely fooled by a mystery, but this one did it. I really like the Krewe of Hunter series. It is an interesting mix of crime drama, mystery, and supernatural. It is entertaining to read. If you throw in a happy ending, you have a great story. :) "

" This one has to be my favorite book in this series so far. I kind of prefer the romance taking back seat to the murder case. Not that I hated the other way, but it made sense for the romance to only happen when they thought the case was done (they worked together after all). "
