Something more dangerous…and unexplainable. As the city seethes with suspicion, Jude calls on Whitney Tremont, a member of the country’s preeminent paranormal investigating team, to put the speculation to rest. Yet when Whitney and Jude delve deeper, what they discover is more shocking than either could have predicted, and twice as sinister….

This book takes the unsolved mysterie of Jack the Ripper and takes it further beyond than just London. It has really done its research on the Ripper and has taken the thouhgt that the Ripper has left London and whent to America after his last kill. It follows its plot to the end and leaves a lot of suspense along the way. This is a highly recommended to people who enjoy mysteries and a bit of scifi. This is more of a young adult book and people who get deffended easiley should'nt read this. It is very detailed on the victims and has colorful language, as well as some intimate scenes. It really is a good book that I enjoyed reading and I hope that if you ever get the chance to read it as well, that you to will enjoy it."

" This was the first audio book I've ever listened to and I loved it. My one big complaint was that the guy who was reading it... his female voices sounded like a deep south whore that was trying to seduce you. It really annoyed me that all the women minus Jenna sounded like that too. I'm thinking wait this takes place in NYC. But all in all a book I'd recommend whether in audio version or traditional. "
— Leann, 2/16/2014" Paranormal romance. A very nice easy going read. "
— Pam, 2/16/2014" I liked the book. I wouldn't say I loved it because after having read so many, I don't get the same excitement at finishing one of Graham's stories anymore. I will say, however, I liked how she set up the idea of multiple suspects just when you thought the case was over. "
— Bobbie, 2/12/2014" Just the right amount of scary and romance. "
— Jessica, 2/11/2014" I've never read this author before and probably wouldn't again. Decent murder mystery plot, but way too much paranormal ghost stuff that I am not in to. Ghost dog also leads to a randomly "hurry up and write an ending" conclusion that doesn't leave you satisfied. Interestingly, after the epilogue, there is a cocktail and steak recipe that may end up being the most wonderfully random inclusion, and the most interesting and useful part. "
— Lynn, 1/29/2014" There was a lot of repeatative pages for me. I like her work but I think it could have been a bit better. "
— Melissa, 1/17/2014" This series seems to get better as it goes along. New York City, killer(s) reliving Jack the Rippers kills, specialized FBI unit. Good read. "
— BJ, 1/7/2014" I'd say this was on par with the other Krewe of Hunters books. Again, it took a long time for the story to get interesting, but once it did, I finished it quickly. Good, but just not great. "
— Dawn, 12/30/2013" book was good but narrator kind of disappointed. "
— Bethany, 12/30/2013" Definitely my favorite out of the entire Krewe of Hunters series..so far. This one def. has some bite to it and sucks the reader in...I think it isn't coming off as shallow(y) as some of HG's books can. "
— Naomi, 12/27/2013" I loved it. It was Graham at her best and I really enjoyed the Jack the Ripper angle. It was a perfect summer read. "
— Mandy, 12/26/2013" The Krewe Of Hunters are back! Another stay up all night read that'll have your heart racing and pulse pounding "
— Eileen, 12/22/2013" So it isn't very often that I get completely fooled by a mystery, but this one did it. I really like the Krewe of Hunter series. It is an interesting mix of crime drama, mystery, and supernatural. It is entertaining to read. If you throw in a happy ending, you have a great story. :) "
— Marcia, 10/17/2013" This one has to be my favorite book in this series so far. I kind of prefer the romance taking back seat to the murder case. Not that I hated the other way, but it made sense for the romance to only happen when they thought the case was done (they worked together after all). "
— Cassandra, 8/16/2013" A Jack the ripper wanna be is in NY while a movie is being filmed. Ghosts help the FBI and New York's finest solve the crime. Not real intriguing or suspenseful. "
— Sherry, 7/19/2013" Love Heather Graham. Read this one as a audio book and often that can be hit or miss with the reader but definitely a hit with this one. Bring on more Krewe Hunters!! "
— Frances, 2/8/2013" Much better than previous book in series. Had no idea that there were so many Jack the Ripper case followers. Best part: Ghost Dog! "
— Windy, 10/10/2012" This wasn't my favorite. It was good though. I love her mix of paranormal, mystery and thriller. I kind of felt like the ending was rushed a little. I have the next one, I just have to finish some library books before I get to it. "
— Kristin, 5/1/2012" Jack the ripper a little over done but good book in all :) "
— Tangled, 3/18/2012" This was a very interesting story with not too much suspense or romance, but just a very interesting story. "
— Sharon, 11/2/2011" This series seems to get better as it goes along. New York City, killer(s) reliving Jack the Rippers kills, specialized FBI unit. Good read. "
— BJ, 10/12/2011" Heather Graham is at her best with this third installment of her "Krewe of Hunters." A perfect blend of romantic/suspense tied in with paranormal to create a wonderful ghost story! "
— Sherry, 10/5/2011" Paranormal romance. A very nice easy going read. "
— Pam, 9/30/2011" Really good book but I love Heather Graham so I wouldn't expect it to be any other way. Makes me with for the happy ever after in my own life. "
— Nicole, 9/8/2011" I'd say this was on par with the other Krewe of Hunters books. Again, it took a long time for the story to get interesting, but once it did, I finished it quickly. Good, but just not great. "
— Dawn, 9/6/2011" This wasn't my favorite. It was good though. I love her mix of paranormal, mystery and thriller. I kind of felt like the ending was rushed a little. I have the next one, I just have to finish some library books before I get to it. "
— Kristin, 9/5/2011" It was a good story but was drawn out and not enough ghosty action for me. "
— Charlene, 9/5/2011" Enjoyable read but I thought the ending was far too rushed and left too much unexplained by previous clues. "
— Ericka, 8/31/2011" Of the series, I think it was the best so far, although a close tie with the first one. "
— Edward, 8/28/2011" it was okay, but it's kind of standard for her paranormal crime novels. A non-believer and a believer bonding over a case and then fall in love with each other. "
