One look and Detective Jude Crosby recognizes the tableau: a re-creation of Jack the Ripper’s gruesome work. But he also sees something beyond the actions of a mere copycat. Something more dangerous...and unexplainable. As the city seethes with suspicion, Jude calls on Whitney Tremont, a member of the country’s preeminent paranormal investigating team, to put the speculation to rest. Yet when Whitney and Jude delve deeper, what they discover is more shocking than either could have predicted, and twice as sinister....

This book takes the unsolved mysterie of Jack the Ripper and takes it further beyond than just London. It has really done its research on the Ripper and has taken the thouhgt that the Ripper has left London and whent to America after his last kill. It follows its plot to the end and leaves a lot of suspense along the way. This is a highly recommended to people who enjoy mysteries and a bit of scifi. This is more of a young adult book and people who get deffended easiley should'nt read this. It is very detailed on the victims and has colorful language, as well as some intimate scenes. It really is a good book that I enjoyed reading and I hope that if you ever get the chance to read it as well, that you to will enjoy it."

" I liked this one. The writing was good, but the climax kinda flew by "
— Allie, 2/19/2014" This one didn't scare me as much, but it was great! "
— Arzella, 2/5/2014" This series seems to get better as it goes along. New York City, killer(s) reliving Jack the Rippers kills, specialized FBI unit. Good read. "
— BJ, 2/2/2014" Definitely my favorite out of the entire Krewe of Hunters series..so far. This one def. has some bite to it and sucks the reader in...I think it isn't coming off as shallow(y) as some of HG's books can. "
— Naomi, 1/27/2014" Is Jack the Ripper haunting New York and killing modern women? That seems to be the spin the media wants to put on things, and is certainly something you might bring in the "Ghost Hunters" of the FBI to look into. A great thriller with just enough paranormal ghosts and ghouls to add excitement and pathos. "
— Sara, 1/23/2014" The Krewe Of Hunters are back! Another stay up all night read that'll have your heart racing and pulse pounding "
— Eileen, 1/4/2014" Just the right amount of scary and romance. "
— Jessica, 12/20/2013" In this one, the team is investigating a Jack the Ripper copycat in New York City. The blend of true historical events with the paranormal and mystery was really interesting. "
— Meredith, 12/14/2013" This wasn't my favorite. It was good though. I love her mix of paranormal, mystery and thriller. I kind of felt like the ending was rushed a little. I have the next one, I just have to finish some library books before I get to it. "

— Pam, 3/8/2013" I really liked Jude Crosby. Great personality. The Jonathan Black theme worked well. I was nicely surprised at Whitney's ablilities as they were not really brought forth in the earlier books. Great interaction and I LOVED the dog. Great new aspect. "
— SJuhl4, 1/2/2013" I was dropping my jaw at the end when Whitney thought the killer was someone who I would have never thought was a possibility. It seems with each book it gets a little better. "
— Jeanne, 12/27/2012" Love Heather Graham. Read this one as a audio book and often that can be hit or miss with the reader but definitely a hit with this one. Bring on more Krewe Hunters!! "
— Frances, 8/25/2012" Jack the ripper a little over done but good book in all :) "

— Carolyn, 12/2/2011" This was a very interesting story with not too much suspense or romance, but just a very interesting story. "
— Sharon, 11/2/2011" This series seems to get better as it goes along. New York City, killer(s) reliving Jack the Rippers kills, specialized FBI unit. Good read. "

— Pam, 9/30/2011" Really good book but I love Heather Graham so I wouldn't expect it to be any other way. Makes me with for the happy ever after in my own life. "
— Nicole, 9/8/2011" I'd say this was on par with the other Krewe of Hunters books. Again, it took a long time for the story to get interesting, but once it did, I finished it quickly. Good, but just not great. "
— Dawn, 9/6/2011" This wasn't my favorite. It was good though. I love her mix of paranormal, mystery and thriller. I kind of felt like the ending was rushed a little. I have the next one, I just have to finish some library books before I get to it. "
— Kristin, 9/5/2011" It was a good story but was drawn out and not enough ghosty action for me. "
— Charlene, 9/5/2011" Enjoyable read but I thought the ending was far too rushed and left too much unexplained by previous clues. "
— Ericka, 8/31/2011" Of the series, I think it was the best so far, although a close tie with the first one. "
— Edward, 8/28/2011" it was okay, but it's kind of standard for her paranormal crime novels. A non-believer and a believer bonding over a case and then fall in love with each other. "
