" Joe Pickett is back in another thrilling adventure! I was engrossed from the very first chapter, and could not stop listening until the very end. The story is gripping and fast-paced, full of suspenseful moments that I enjoyed quite thoroughly. Every character feels real and authentically crafted which adds further tension as the story unfolds. The setting in rural Wyoming adds an additional layer of realism to the story as we are immersed in Big Sky Country with its majestic mountains and wide valleys. The narration is good and I have no complaints there. Looking forward to the next book in the series now! "

" This is my first C.J. Box novel and I loved it. I have tried to think of something negative to say about this book and its narration, but I have not come up with anything--particularly the narration. David Chandler did an outstanding job with this story and I will be searching for other novels that he has performed. Eagerly awaiting the next in the series. One word of caution: read this series in order; I wish I had known to do that before ordering this particular book. "
