" Listen...is that a finger snap from Heaven I hear??? A good read for a train ride to DC and back home, especially this time of year. "

" THis is the first of Donna VanLiere's books I've ever picked up -- but I really enjoyed it and will read more of her Christmas stories. It was a nice story that left me feeling quite good. "

" I read The Christmas Note last year when it released. When I notice the audio edition, I had to "read" it again. To truly experience a Donna VanLiere novel, one must listen to Donna read the novel. I would not encourage most authors to do this; however, Donna VanLiere is a gifted storyteller. Some of the audiobook performers are gifted at multiple voices while Donna can not only do multiple voices, she can create a personality through her voice. I enjoyed the book when I read it, but I loved it when I listened to it. My only complaint is I wish it were longer. I didn't want to say goodbye to the characters. "

" I enjoyed this charming little book very much, and I'm totally on board with the idea that "coincidences" are often actually "god-incidences". My main quibble with this book is that the author pushed the concept a little too far, the last amazing coincidence overstetching even my credulity. "

" Enjoyable...easy read...more twists than I expected. Ties together a bit too neatly, making it a little far fetched, but that's okay for a Christmas book. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Niza | 2/9/2013

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Fedora | 3/30/2012
