"My first read in 2012, and I'm glad I picked it up. This book is definitely my favorite in this series so far. I loved both characters & felt the chemistry between them. Despite the fact that Maddie didn't tell Mick who she was, I really appreciated the fact they were honest with each other about their mutual attraction & simply enjoyed their time together. Rachel Gibson is a wonderful author that never disappoints me. Her own style, well-developed & interesting characters make me want to pick up more of her books in the future."

“Fiery romance filled with interesting and dynamic characters.”
— Booklist" Nice book, easy to read and listen "
— Yulia, 11/29/2022" I would read it for fun, but I didn't find a grand connection between the hero and heroine. But as a light read it's all right. "
— Bee, 2/12/2014" Completely fun sassy read and I hope that RG's considers writing a novella with all four couples. I would buy that. :-) "
— Keri, 1/16/2014" Maddie and Mick were both recovering from a past that followed them wherever they went. The chemistry between the two of them from the beginning and simply compounded was the truth came out. Even though the truth was a setback at first they were able to see around a past that was a part of their history but didn't have to define their future. "
— Angie, 1/16/2014" Another interesting, fun and charming story from Rachel Gibson. "
— Zo'e, 1/11/2014" cute novel but it was pretty predictable and didn't differ too much from most romance novels. I still really enjoyed the book and finished it cover to cover. "
— Kristin, 1/10/2014" Book suggested by my daughter friend. A love story in Truly, Ohio of Maddie Dupree and Lochlyn Michael Hennessy "Mick". Maddie has come to the little town of Truly to finally search the real reason of her mother's dead. Every body in town knows the awful triangle love affair that ended in the dead of Lock Hennessy, his wife Rose Hennessy and Alice Jones (the waitress)Maddie's mother. But destiny has a surprise for her and the son of Rose Hennessy the killer, they will be madly inlove... "
— Judy, 12/27/2013" The story-line is kind of interesting, and it's definitely as easy read with some intense sex scenes. With lines like "she was like the damn terminator. She'd be back" the writing was less that great. "
— Lindsay, 12/10/2013" My first book by this author and I guess I'm reading it out of order but I didn't feel lost. I absolutely loved this book. I laughed out loud and I just couldn't put it down. Thanks for the recommend Crystal! "

— Kelda, 11/7/2013" This book was slow at starting out wasnt sure if I would get into it..but I stuck it out and turned out to be pretty good. I think the best part about this book was the sex scenes..:) "
— Kimberly, 10/28/2013" This Rachel Gibson book is very good. having read many of Rachel's books, this one shows the outcome of many years of writing. it is a romance but the story is compelling as well. Not a light read. "
— Julie, 10/1/2013" I enjoyed the relationship between Maddie and Mick but I thought there was going to be more to the death of their parents "
— Debra, 4/25/2013" Tangled up in you was another really nice book by rachel gibson - I love the background story with all the murder and the secrets, and I love how special the relationship between madddie and mick seems to be! "
— Martina, 4/6/2013" Incredible two thumbs up. "
— Jackie, 3/4/2013" After a string of romances that were barely ok Gibson surprised me by being so well written and creating people with depth of character and more going on in their lives than a strong desire to sleep with the opposite lead. I liked the homicide back story. "
— Caroline, 11/1/2012" Was okay My expectations weren't high. I liked her previous title better. "
— Curvy, 10/20/2012" More like 3.5*. A little obvious, but well written and very enjoyable. Cannot wait to read the last book in the series! "
— Jennifer, 6/12/2012" Tangled Up In You is a decent read; got it from the library and am glad I didn't buy it. Not a waste of time, but not a reread. Gibson has definitely written better (i.e. See Jane Score, Truly Madly Yours, and It Must Be Love)!! "
— Juliana, 5/12/2012" A fun and entertaining read - as usual, Rachel Gibson does a wonderful job creating lively characters you find yourself rooting for through the book. The tension between Maggie and Mick keeps the reader hooked till the end as does the sexual banter between the two. "
— Marie, 4/14/2012" i just love rachel gibson "
— Mariah, 2/15/2012" I hated the fact that Maddie didn't tell Mick who she really was. The plot could have been the same even if she told him. It's like a kid with a balloon. You know he's gonna blow it sooner or later! "
— marieno, 6/16/2011" Poignant at times, hilarious and excellent! I had hoped for a bit more from the murder story line (I would have gone in a different direction), but, the romance is what kept me reading. I liked the characters and understood both. "
— Cynthia, 4/11/2011" My first book by this author and I guess I'm reading it out of order but I didn't feel lost. I absolutely loved this book. I laughed out loud and I just couldn't put it down. Thanks for the recommend Crystal! "

— Anastasia, 3/31/2011" A fun and entertaining read - as usual, Rachel Gibson does a wonderful job creating lively characters you find yourself rooting for through the book. The tension between Maggie and Mick keeps the reader hooked till the end as does the sexual banter between the two. "
— Mary, 3/28/2011" I enjoyed the relationship between Maddie and Mick but I thought there was going to be more to the death of their parents "
— Debra, 3/27/2011" it dragged. The chemistry was lacking "
