"I enjoyed this charming, quirky rommance with a touch of the afterlife. Whoever imagined Wal-Mart as Pergatory? funny, delightful story with a happy ending. Strong heroine, sort of sensitive hero and all their wacky relatives including his late wife. I will look for other books by this author. "

" Sometimes you find that these shorter romances are a bit undeveloped because they are too short, but Rachel Gibson hasn't written a bad one that I've read. The characters are always well-developed and the plots full of obstacles and twists to keep it interesting. "
— Kelly, 2/13/2014" I really wanted to like this more than I did. The trouble was it was so predictable. Most of her books that I've read are predictable in the fact that you know someone has a secret, eventually it will come out, but they'll still love each other in the end. But with this one, I felt like I knew everything that was going to happen down to the details. I've enjoyed her other books but this one I didn't enjoy quite as much. "
— Megan, 2/10/2014" Cute, quick read. Happy, sassy, good hetero sex. What's not to love?! "
— Suzanne, 1/22/2014" I read this book in one evening, I couldn't finish it fast enough! I loved Adele, but as I read the book I wondered what happened to Devon? The author did tidy that up, overall I enjoyed this book! "

— Camerz, 10/20/2013" Hmmm...Cute, but not great. I'm glad Rachel is done with the 4 writers. This series wasn't that great. "
— Jenny, 9/14/2013" One of my guilty pleasures! Love Rachel Gibson--her books are like candy! (Spicy candy....) A great escape, where the main characters are all impossibly beautiful/handsome, and a happy ending is a given. Lots of fun along the way too. "
— Kristy, 9/14/2013" This book cracked me up. "
— Amber, 9/11/2013" this is waiting for me at home to read!!!!!!!!!!!! "
— Tilequa, 9/6/2013" This is a good quick read. This was my first book by this author, and I really liked it. "
— Shelley, 8/25/2013" I didn't feel the humor at all in this book, which is probably why I gave it such a poor rating. "
— Netanella, 7/23/2013" The more Rachel Gibson I read the better I like her! Her books always make me laugh out loud! "
— Carla, 6/20/2013" Cute, but definitely the weakest of the series to me. Still a fun, fluffy read! "
— Heather62981, 4/1/2013" Rachel Gibson is my guilty pleasure "
— Misty, 3/26/2013" Hilarious. Adele's dates just kept getting more and more outrageous. Great summer read. "
— Alicia, 12/6/2012" I really liked this book. Yes its a romance. But more modern. "
— Tina, 4/13/2012" Heavy narration, very little dialogue, characters were very common & stereotypical. Didn't enjoy predictability. "
— Renee, 12/5/2011" I liked the story but it had kind of a second story line going with it and it just made the whole thing feel alittle hokey. Still a cute book but I didn't like it nearly as much as the rest of the series. "
— Jessica, 10/9/2011" Wow, am I glad this book ended up not making the book club list as it was kind of awful and I would've been blamed for making my friends read such an awful book. It kind of reminds me of an extremely fluffy version of Lovely Bones... kind of. "
— Alison, 9/17/2011" Nothing too mind-blowing here. Relatable, fun, chicklit fluff to read while floating in the pool! "
— Laurie, 7/31/2011" A fun read. This was my first trip into Rachel Gibson's world. I'll probably visit again. "
— Erica, 5/13/2011" Cute rom-com, funny bad dates bc of curse "
— Michelle, 4/1/2011" I read this book in one evening, I couldn't finish it fast enough! I loved Adele, but as I read the book I wondered what happened to Devon? The author did tidy that up, overall I enjoyed this book! "
— Anastasia, 3/31/2011" Fun book especially the dead wife. If I am dead, I may do what she did, subotage my husband's dates. The version of heaven is also marvelous. If we get what we want as our earthly rewards, I want to be surrounded by books, all the books that I like and enjoy. "
— Helen, 3/1/2011" Very disappointed ..
One of my favorite romance novels is "Tangled Up In You" by Rachel .. So when I got this book I had high expectations ..
It just was another romance novel, nothing memorable in it .. "
