She's from the wrong side of the tracks...

Liberty Jones has dreams and determination that will take her far away from Welcome, Texas—if she can keep her wild heart from ruling her mind. Hardy Cates sees Liberty as completely off-limits. His own ambitions are bigger than Welcome, and Liberty Jones is a complication he doesn’t need. But something magical and potent draws them to each other, in a dangerous attraction that is stronger than both of them.

He's the one man she can't have...

When Hardy leaves town to pursue his plans, Liberty finds herself alone with a young sister to raise. Soon Liberty finds herself under the spell of a billionaire tycoon—a Sugar Daddy, one might say. But the relationship goes deeper than people think, and Liberty begins to discover secrets about her own family’s past.

Will they find their hearts' desires or will heartbreak tear them apart?

Two men. One woman. A choice that can make her or break her. A woman you’ll root for every step of the way. A love story you’ll never forget.

" Not the best from Lisa but it was good and I loved a couple of good lines in there. "

" Sometime last week I started reading the second book, and decided about 1/3 of the way into it that I wanted to read the first book so I could get the backstory needed. I spoiled myself by reading the second one so far, but thats okay. Both this book and the other book seem to be less about romance and more about the women themselves. I really liked this book. It was just generally a great read. The book is a lot different than her historicals, but as long as she finishes the other series I'll be good. "

" I was hesitant to read this book due to the title. I read through people's comments and I decided to give it a go. I am so thankful that I did! I loved the story and found it to be very believable. I found myself rooting for the main character and feeling her feelings through all her struggles. Such a nice story and written so nicely! I definitely recommend this book to someone looking for a nice read on a relaxing Sunday :) "

" hmm. too much women's fiction, not enough romance for my taste. 2.5 stars "

" This was book one in the series. Definitely chick-lit. This was a monthly book club pick to lighten things up a bit. It's a fun, fast, easy read. The characters are interesting and colorfully come to life. It really, really, really makes you want a husband from Texas where the men are purported to be big, strong, handsome and with manners that would make Emily Post proud. There are a few good, racy parts that make you read even faster! "

" They need to put which order the books go in so you can keep up with the theme.. I do like how she has a family and sticks with that family till each one of them has their own story to share. "

" I read this book almost a year ago to this day. I got it after having a 40 day no romance reading fest. Blergh. I think I was just so happy to be reading again, I tore through it without appreciating it. Now that I've re-read it, I have to say it was 'Meh' not bad, not great. It was definatley a 'flippy, flippy' book, as I would skim over a lot of pages hoping to get to the fun parts. "

" Lisa Kleypas never lets me down. Definitely different from her Historical Romance but Kleypas made a character (Liberty Jones) you'll be cheering for until the very end. "
