Publisher Description

"I can't just storm in and proclaim my intentions. I can't ‘steal' you away. I just have to wait and hope that, someday, you'll ask," Tamani said.

"And if I don't?" Laurel said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Then I guess I'll be waiting forever."

Although Laurel has come to accept her true identity as a faerie, she refuses to turn her back on her human life—and especially her boyfriend, David—to return to the faerie world.

But when she is summoned to Avalon, Laurel's feelings for the charismatic faerie sentry Tamani are undeniable. She is forced to make a choice—a choice that could break her heart.

" I loved it! Best in the series, and I really hope they make another after this one, because the way it ends- you want another book! Haha xD I loved it! "

" I really liked this book. I think that its better than the second one. I loved the surprises in this one. Easy to read and fun. "

" This is the second book to follow "Wings." It was interesting but not outstanding--a middle-book for sure. A lot more background on the fairy world of Avalon behind the trees, some more action, and some new characters. Plus the boyfriend drama escalates-- deciding between Tamani of the Fairy world or David of the human one. You can't help but be reminded of the Edward & Jacob dilemma. "

" this book was....ehhh? Compared to the first it was definitely a disappointment. It had taken me over a month to read too, so that alone is a sign it wasnt all that amazing. I was also in the middle of reading the Hunger Games and the Red Pyramid, so I wasnt all that interested in it compared to those other books. But, it was entertaining enough I guess. But the story didnt seem to flow well enough for me, and if I hadnt read it I would've lived, ya know? Overall, it was ok. If I read the next book (I THINK theres gonna be a next book) I might read it. MIGHT. Not really sure. Plus, Laurel (the main character) got even MORE annoying in this book. It didnt help that Miley Cyrus is cast as her character!!! UGH. I wasnt very happy when I heard that. Also, the name was really weird. SPELLS? Seriously? The book really had nothing to do with spells at all. (And it took me a while to convince my mom to let me check it out of the library). "

" it was alright. Nothing special. It did end on a cliff hanger which draws me to the next book. Although, I must give credit where it's due; she is able to paint a beautiful picture with her words of the Faery world, Avalon. Watching the play at the festival sounded amazing. "

" I enjoyed this. Very slow moving with a short climax at the end. Sets it all up for another book. I love the imagination of this book. The first book was better in my opinion but it was good. "
