"I just finished this book and as always I just love Sylvia Days writing. This to me had just enough romance and drama. It wasn't really angsty and I appreciated that...the story between Alistair and Jess was beautiful. I loved how much he wanted her and how much he was able to bring her out of herself and vise versa. They taught each other and you could truly see how much they were meant for one another...and I mean come on who would love an Alistair he is dark, mysterious, beautiful and passionate. Good enjoyable easy read and i can see a similarity between Alistair and Gideon Cross. I would love to see Michael and Hester's story I think there is something beautiful there."

“Day creates sympathetic characters and skillfully weaves in some intense subplots about Jess’ abusive childhood and her sister’s violent husband. The main interest, though, lies in the extensive and graphic love scenes.”
— Publishers Weekly“Day pens a fast-paced, hot and sexy romance with wonderful characters and appealing secondary stories.”

— Book, 7/10/2013" Excellent story, really enjoyed it as I have all Sylvia Days books, they are gripping, intense and erotic, this one was more romantic than others and loved the story line. "
— Lisa, 7/9/2013" is a easy read but I not sure is to die for you enjoy it but is not like her other work is a book to read but not to re-read "
— Esther, 4/7/2013" Not a book I would choose to read normally. I do not go for historical books. But a pretty good read. "
— Ellen, 3/11/2013" Pretty 'meh' considering this is written by Sylvia Day. I've enjoyed most of her historical romance story but this one is a let down. Hot, smoldering passion aside, the story line is bland and slow. Except for the last few chapters, Seven Years to Sin fails to captivate me. "
— Nonieღserenity2bliss, 1/28/2013" I haven't previously read a regency novel before, I enjoyed the story line, it was fast paced which ensured I did not put it down for long. I enjoyed the main characters, however their love seemed a little too 'perfect'. All in all and enjoyable read so 4.5 stars from me. "
