"The book is good, read it mostly to see if my daughter might like it. We saw the movie and she loved it, is now interested in reading the book, perhaps some fun summer read! Loads more to read in this series, but quick books. Enjoyed the idea of using mythology I have always been a fan!! "
— April (4 out of 5 stars)
" read the series first percy jackson and the olympians. "
— Chance, 2/17/2014" I really, really liked this book at first. The first two short stories in this book were really good, but the third one wasn't the same. The third one was boring (I think) and I was confused by the characters! So overall I liked the book, but it wasn't great. "
— Alyssa, 2/16/2014" I love Character guides! "
— Alison, 2/14/2014" I was jonesing for a Percy Jackson fix since "Mark of Athena" is coming out soon, so I read this book to get me pumped up for that. I don't normally love these kinds of interloping books, and this was the same. I enjoyed little visits with my favorite characters, but I don't think Riordan is as good at the short story genre as he is at the series...he needs more space to tell a good tale. "
— Shana, 2/9/2014" Short stories about Percy Jackson characters. Fits between The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 4) and The Last Olympian (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 5). "
— Marla, 2/4/2014" A nice little insider book about all the Percy Jackson mysteries left untold, with some new adventures. "
— Zach, 2/2/2014" I liked the books better than the 3 story format. "
— Vic, 2/1/2014" Great addition to the Percy Jackson series. It has interviews with some of the characters, a map of Camp Half-Blood, pictures of Percy, Annabeth, Grover and some of the Gods, puzzles, and some short stories. It was very enjoyable and fun to read. "
— Miss, 1/30/2014" Short book - 3 short stories with Percy and his friends. Not exactly sure where these fit into the series time line, but they were fun reads. "
— Sheryl, 1/29/2014" More stories from Percy's world. "
— Juliette, 1/19/2014" A busy book. Scattered stories. "
— CJ, 12/25/2013" I devoured this book. All it has done is made me more excited for The Last Olympian, and I'm really excited to see that Rick Riordan is allowing his characters to grow up realistically, and is choosing to face the "I like like you" aspect rather than ignoring it. "
— Jamie, 9/30/2013" One great short story and two not that great but fun to read. "
— Razael, 8/14/2013" Meh. The only point of reading this is for the few short stories. Otherwise there's not much new stuff there. "
— Marleigh, 6/27/2013" I love anything Percy Jackson related so of course I loved this fun mini stories book. "
— Sabrina, 6/10/2013" this was a okay book, it was about a kid named percy who has to return the lightning bolt to Zeus before his old "friend" stops him. "
— Colin, 5/23/2013" I must admit that I didn't care as much for this as I did for the main books in the series. That being said, the book was still good. "
— Kelcie, 4/30/2013" It was interesting to get to hear some shorter tales of Percy Jackson. I liked the interviews with various characters, too. "
— Jay, 1/29/2013" The perfect companion to the series. I loved it! "
— Ariane, 1/13/2013" omg omg omg when this came out i swore i HAD to have it, and when i got it i swore id make my brother read the whole series! "
— ☞Proud☜, 8/2/2012" Great add on to the Percy Jackson series. "
— Travis, 5/11/2012" Haha. I love the interview part.. Specially with Percy and Annabeth. :) Those short stories are so cool and I was hoping to read more of it. Too bad, it's just three of them. I can't wait for the next sequel of Heroes of Olympus... I miss Percy! :D "
— Sonie, 5/8/2012" I enjoyed the stories in this, espeacially the story of the bronze dragon! I enjoyed the character interviews as well. Makes me want to re-read the series right through to 'Son of Neptune'. "
— Suzan, 2/10/2012" The demigod files was very entertaining. "
— Karthik, 1/8/2012" I don't usually like gimmicky books, but I relish the short story form, and this little, sit-down-and-read-it-in-an-hour tome has a couple of fun ones. "
— Glenda, 11/4/2011" On page 30-something not to sure I haven't read this in a while,Really like it its like behind the scenes fotage I guess There are some storys and other things. My innerconversations are probably that in the second story :Never trust Annabeth, just don't. "

— Taylor, 5/24/2011" Read it when it first came out in 2005, and was hooked. Upon reading it aloud to my daughters, find it still rocks. "
— Melissa, 5/23/2011" Read for school; was to make a commercial to advertise the book but the video cam wouldn't work. It was a quick read and fairly interesting on a very young reader scale. "
— Tamela, 5/23/2011" A great YA lit novel. My 5th graders love it. An easy read for me, but very engaging. Highly recommend it! "
— Helen, 5/22/2011" This book was good. There was comedy, as well as history and mythology. It was put into a context that you could understand. "
— Tandra, 5/22/2011" A little young for my liking. I think this is more of a "coming of age" read. "
— Celeste, 5/22/2011" I absolutely love this book and its series! it is funny, adventurous, and unique. They need to have more books out there this amazing. "
