" I liked Pearl storyline. She comes to Dakota to get away from an overbearing father and a marriage to a man with 5 children. She is a school teacher and comes to start up the school in the Dakotas. She is friends with Ruby and Opal and the story continues as they each find love. "

" I enjoyed this book, I like that she doesn't use any "bad" language and puts in a lot of "thoughts of God and scriptures", I am in need of that stuff right now. Ofcourse it is in the Dakota Territory, 1800's and that is my kind of read. "

" This book was a nice conclusion to the first in the series. I liked Pearl's and Carl's story very much as well as Rand's and Ruby's. I didn't care too much for the ending as it was a bit predictable and unoriginal. "
