Live fast, fight hard and if you have to die then take as many of your enemies with you as you can. That is the Amazon credo and it was one Samia lived and died by. Now in contemporary New Orleans, the immortal Amazon warrior is about to learn that there's a worse evil coming to slaughter mankind than she's ever faced before. Shapeshifter Dev Peltier has stood guard at the front of Sanctuary for almost two hundred years and in that time, he's seen it all. Or so he thought. Now their enemies have discovered a new source of power- one that makes a mockery of anything faced to date. The war is on and Dev and Sam are guarding ground zero. But in order to win, they will have to break the most cardinal of all rules and pray it doesn't unravel the universe as we know it.

"Another random selection...and it was really good! A bit more on the fantasy side that I would normally read, but great story, well developed characters and pretty well written. It was a bit tricky to keep track of some of the characters (different species, actual names, then nick names), but the main characters were prominent enough to keep track of."

“Kenyon’s gift for layered characterization invests readers quickly in the trials and tribulations of all her protagonists. Half the fun of a Kenyon novel is discovering what new curveball she is going to throw!”
— RT Book Reviews (4½ stars)Listening to this audio of the book No Mercy was a very captivating way to enjoy this series. The narrator [gave] life to one of the favorite shifters in this series and [gave] him the extra spark of humor and sensuality that you do not get at times while reading the print…Holter Graham did a great job at bringing not only Dev to life but Sam and the other Dark hunter characters as well. If you haven't tried listening to an audio book before and are a fan of the series, I would seriously recommend trying this one out.
— Bitten by BooksIt's rare to listen to an audiobook in which one speaker handles the range from macho male to vulnerable female roles so well...Fans will revel in No Mercy, especially this audiobook version that accentuates the amusing dialogue between Dev and Sam.
— BookLoons.com“Graham keeps up with the fast pace of this book and uses his acting experience to bring the characters to life, even the dead ones!
— SFCrowsNest.com" Good read. I like Dev. Interested in seeing the direction of the series "
— Nyimah, 2/10/2014" I enjoyed the story while I was in it. Kept me interested but now a couple of weeks later I find that it is hard to remember all of the plot. I do so enjoy reading Kenyon's work "
— Tnkbell, 2/8/2014" Trying to piece together stuff because I just realized I skipped #18. GRRRRRRRRRR!!! :( "
— Julia, 2/5/2014" This book gets a solid 4 from me, partly because I like the characters. I like their story a lot. I even like some of the newer characters introduced BUT what I don't like is the new found relationship Nick has with Artie, the fact that Nick is a whiny piece of Man Bitch and that lately all the characters she write seem to have more powers than Acheron. That bothers me mainly because I LOVE Acheron!!! However that goes I need this to be tightened up I don't want anyone more powerful than HIM lol but I guess I have to deal with it. Also I am beginning to really like Savitar a LOT, and I want to know more about Chi. "
— Deniece, 1/24/2014" Loved it! Wished it was longer...I wish all her books could be as long as Ash's book! "
— Gina, 1/15/2014" Loved Dev in every book he was in, I smiled from ear to ear with every sarcastic word that came out of his mouth. This book was fast paced and full of interesting plots moving the series forward. "
— Kolleen, 12/27/2013" I love this series! I can't remember all the details about each book but they are all wonderful! It helped me through my BDB withdrawals. "
— Jaimie, 12/14/2013" very good book, ilove it "
— renee, 12/7/2013" I was kind of curious about certain characters back story, but not enough to want to read others in this series. "
— Beverly, 11/24/2013" Awesome...great beach read or for apres ski! "
— Samantha, 11/20/2013" Not one of my faves of the series, but I got a Savitar dose, so it's all good! Review to follow. "
