In Sherrilyn Kenyon's The Guardian, Dream-Hunter Lydia has been charged with the most sacred and dangerous of missions: To descend into the Nether Realm and find the missing god of dreams before he betrays the secrets that could kill her and her kind. What she never expects is to be taken prisoner by the Realm's most vicious guardian…

No matter the torture, Seth hasn't been able to break the god in his custody. " I know this book wasn't entirely about Solin, but I loved that he was in it. I do so love Solin and wish we could hear more about him. That is all I have to say. Sorry, bad reviewer. "

" I really liked this book. Seth was a great character. He was unique and had depth. I'm not sure how much I liked Lydia, though. I understand her being mean in the beginning, obviously, but she would be really rude to him over the smallest things. Overall, she wasn't a terrible character, but I didn't take to her as well as I usually do with Kenyon's characters. the storyline was unique compared to her other books, though. Well, they're all unique but this one branched out more. It wasn't strictly Dark Hunter, Dream Hunter, Were Hunter, etc. but more of a blend. It was a change of pace. "

" I have really enjoyed all of the books by this author. I find her easy and fun to read. It is an escape. This book is not the most fascinating, the plot is not unusual or riveting, it doesn't really challenge me mentally. But this was very enjoyable, quick & easy to read. "

" Eh I think Kenyon is starting to lose her magic touch. Too many characters, too many unstoppable "bad asses" with all sad stories. Its starting to have that "Heroes" touch and after so many years, it'd suck for her to burn out such a good thing. "
