"The book is very easily to refer to, as for most part the setting was set in Hong Kong. With all the fiction stories nowadays set in fantasized world, it is a good twist to it. As all the magical fictional stories, set in this modern world, makes it interesting to read. The book is adventurous with a lot actions, however without reading the previous books in the serie, not much of it will make sense. Overall I enjoyed this book a lot and hoped the next book would be just as good or even better."

" The Gatekeepers has been a fun adventure to read. I was warned ahead of time but was still a little disappointed that the ending did not give full closure to the story. Things are still hanging, but it was worth the entertaining read and I was hooked from the beginning of the first book! The first, second and third books in the series were my favorite! "

" #4 in the Gatekeepers series finds Matt and the others in a race to find the fifth Gatekeeper before the Old Ones find and capture her. The action bounces from Peru to London to Hong Kong and the story moves at a frantic pace. The ending is quite the cliffhanger and I am eagerly looking forward to the next in the series. "

" Very good book. It was very exciting although I have to say, I wish the ending was a little more straight foward, and I wish we would have known what happened to Scarlet. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book of the series when it comes out. "

" There are a few YA novelists who do the creepy, supernatural thrillers well. Neal Shusterman. Justin Richards. Horowitz. I like his Alex Rider series, and I swoon over his short stories. I hope this Gatekeeper series ends as it began; it's eerie, terrifying, original and detailed. "

" I loved this one. At first I was dissapointed because I thought it was the last one and it left on a cliffhanger but it was REALLY good. It went more in depth about the process of the 5 and like the rest it kept me intrested the whole way through. I'm dying to know what happens. Can't wait! "
